I am due to switch to sky on 20th April but Virgin is being cut off on 4th April. Is there anyway I can access the Internet in the meantime, I use an I pad but do have access to a laptop. I don't want to be without access to this forum and banking etc for over two weeks.
Thanks

Via your mobile network or buy a mobile dongle .
Or via Public WiFi if you are out and about.0 -
Do you have a friendly neighbour whose signal you can see and who might be willing to allow you to be a guest on his network until you're sorted? The guy in the next flat and I have a reciprocal agreement which has proved very useful on occasions.... I had this problem trying to move to BT from Virgin.
BT have messed up my dates and I was due to be cut off from Virgin last wk.
Made a phone call to Virgin and no problem - they have kept it going indefinitely until I phone and tell them I am up an running with BT.0 -

I asked the same question recently, and got some useful answers.0 -
Ok, I've read all about mifi and dongles but still don't get it. There is nowhere to plug anything into the iPad!!!! So can't plug a dongle into it.0

Have sent you a PM. Use a mifi (which is wireless, and doesn't need to be plugged in to the iPad).0
