    Hi,
Can someone provide a link to holiday booking for sun+ members please.
Also does anyone know of nice holiday park near yorkshire or lincolnshire. We have been to butlins minehead once and enjoyed it. But no idea what to put for the other three choices of park.Don't want to travel too far this year as we have a new born.
To book the £15 holiday with Sun+ you log into your Sun Perks login.
    http://perks.thesun.co.uk/register
You'll find the Holiday perk there.
At the moment it says "coming soon" That will change to BOOK NOW once the booking office is open.

Any tips on how to be organised before the booking opens, so it saves time once the site is live.Never done this before & :) getting excited now.

Hi all! Was wondering if anyone could recommend a park in France?

We've been going to la croix de vieux pont (on RachieB's great recommendation)for about 5yrs now through the sun hols, With the exception of last yr when we got duinrell. And we are booked in there again this yr. but only for 4nights. We were thinking of traveling to Brittany or somewhere else not too far away(but out of paris for a change)
    We've 4 kids aged 18mths-10 yrs.

Any advice or recommendations are greatly appreciated.x
  • Hi, I can only go on one of the available dates (school holidays). Is there any way to prevent the booking site from only offering a date I can't do? Couldn't book it last year because I couldn't get the date I wanted. Also, I'm flexible on locations apart from the few with dreadful reviews on trip advisor.

What I do it write down my dates in order of preference, and same with parks. I think I use the park number instead of typing in the park name. And be super quick! It's like lightening lol. Good luck. I hope you get what you're after x

No,4 dates have to be given.
It would take some time (and could be a waste of time)but you'd need to go through each section till one park comes up with the date.

In my experience I find that all the butlins go first and duinrell in holland. So perhaps add them to your choice if your really after one park. Or date. As they are harder to get you may get what you're after easier. Lol, if you know what I mean? Lol. Not sure I do myself though! :rotfl:

We have been to Butlins Skegness through the sun and that might be an option, we were very lucky and got fab weather but the indoor pool complex is great if you get bad weather. We've also been to Golden Sands at Mablethorpe twice, Mablethorpe is nice for young kids and has a lovely beach, the site is a it busy for us but we had a lovely caravan last time and that was through the sun without any upgrades. We've also went to Thorpe Park last year through the sun and were pleasantly surprised, its a very large site but the staff were lovely and caravans not too crowded together, the caravan we got was lovely without any upgrades and we really enjoyed the theme park which is practically next door.
Whereabouts are you travelling from? we are in Leeds and Thorpe park was a really short journey due to good roads, Skegness and mablethorpe are a bit more of a trek for us. We haven't been to any Yorkshire parks recently but blue dolphin and reighton sands are always popular with families booking through haven so should be a good deal through the sun.
