It's the ones who park as close as humanly possible to your car that annoy me leaving me no room to get back in the car, if you park so close that I need to become Mr Fantastic (the one who can stretch and become really thin) to get into my car then any dent/dings/marks or whatever are tough luck0

I was parked in a supermarket car park about to my shopping, sitting in my car checking my list before I got out the car.
Little old lady pulls into the space beside me about 6 inches from my drivers door! Proceeds to open her door into mine and try and squeeze herself out, then yells through the window at me that they don't give you much space these days.
Not if you park like an idiot... The car park was virtually empty too.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I had someone scraped a trolley down the side of my car twice in about three years which left a few dents in the scrapes.
Cost me about £420 altogether. I wouldn't dare do such a tthing.
There was one supermarket carpark where I used to live had a walkway between the rows. Designed for customers to walk directly to the cars. Plus you could park boot in and access the boot without damaging neighbouring parked carsThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Why do people park next to me when the car park is full of spaces? There is a HUGE Tesco about 10 miles from here and the first half of the car park - nearest the store is full. The bottom half isn't. I park with 10 spaces free both sides. I come back and there has been perhaps 2 extra cars parked, one of them is parked next to mine. Cars are not human and they don't need company.
I try not to park next to people carriers - unless they have the slide doors to the side, as 95% of the time, kids swing open the doors, hitting the car next door.
But I cannot control who parks in the spaces whilst I am out of the car. Even when I'm in the car, I can't tell the driver to park somewhere else. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

That picture makes me think of the people who park badly over the line meaning you have to park over the line in the next space then you come out and the cars around are gone leaving you looking like the idiot who can't park.0

I hate drivers that do this. In a full car park, if 10 drivers do this, they are preventing 10 or more (I have seen cars parked with a wheel in a different space) cars unable to park. This then may cause upsets and loss of business to the shop(s).This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Maybe this is why they parked over the line? Coz the car before them parked badly? :rotfl:
It's a sort of chicken and egg type situation! :cool:cooeeeeeeeee :j :wave:0 -

You could get a car either side of that. Maybe they're being generous by turning one space into two.0
