Some people just don't care and mine has many minor scratches because of this.

I think the main problem though is that most cars have got bigger, but the parking spaces in supermarket car parks have not.

Someone opened a car door into the side of my mates Landrover at Tesco, then started having a go at him because his tree sliders had put a dent right in the edge of her door :)

    Terrible isn't it?

Mine was the only car on the street to be keyed. It's only a little C1.

Someone smashed the glass on the wing mirror of my neighbour's car too.

Scum did 3 or 4 cars in a row on our street. Police weren't interested even though they had CCTV footage.

    It's ridiculous.

A friend of mine said he could fix the scratch. He came round and put some stuff on it and told me to leave it and he'd come back the week after. That was the start of February and the stuff is still on my car.

At a motorway service station a few months back, I stayed in the car whilst hubby took one the kids to the loo as the other nipper was asleep.
Was sat in the car minding my own business when someone pulled up in the space next to us and flung their car door open into our car.
The woman shouted to her fella "oh f*ck, quick, move the car and make sure nobody saw" before jumping into the car. I hopped out of the car to ask where they were off to, she looked at me, and they drove off at speed.

Apparently they forgot that they were supporting one of those new fangled number plates that you can give to the police to track someone down, and combined with CCTV at the service station the plod managed to track them down.

It was only a small ding, and had they looked apologetic/started writing down their info or something, then we would have been inclined to accept their apology and just be done with it, as we have done before, but their general sh*tty attitude sealed their fate

I rarely rant on here but my car door peeve is the ignorant selfish !!!!!!s who open the door of their parked car when I am driving past and have to swerve out the way. Just wait, even if it takes one whole minute, until the road is clear.
