Be careful with the gift vouchers - don't some card companies treat a gift card purchase as if you have withdrawn cash?0

To apply for Aqua Reward and hope one of the two holds out, or wait and see if I get a letter. Hmm....0

Hi I had the aqua card when they were giving 3% (account now closed) but would not recommend using them. It was quite difficult to get the final cashback payback from them and it took 6 months and many phone calls to get the account closed.
Might work better for you but my experience of their call centre was not good at all :eek:0 -

nor for me. can anyone with AspireElite confirm that they have received a letter re. changes to cashback?0 -
Never happened to me, and I've bought a lot of 'em in various shops. In my experience they just go through the till like any other purchase and appear on the credit card as such.Be careful with the gift vouchers - don't some card companies treat a gift card purchase as if you have withdrawn cash?0 -
yes, gift cards should just be a purchase.
paying off a storecard can be different though.0 -
and it is definitely the AspireElite with the shiny silver 'MasterCard' logo?0

Thanks, that's certainly a scan of a letter, but it makes no mention of Luma or 4%, so impossible to tell whether this is the letter sent to Luma customers or not as the poster doesn't divulge this.oldagetraveller wrote: »Post number 55 if that helps. It's a scan of the letter.0 -

as my post above I have had no letter stating cashback is coming to a end on the 4% luma, also nothing on my online account or statements, I will post back should I get letters on this card or my 0.5% capitalone.
I stupidly closed my 0.5% cashback nationwide card, looks like I will have to reapply for this card should my capitalone cards come to a end, as nationwide is still advertising the 0.5% cashback cards.0
