New ISA withdraw rules

Hi,
I saw in the Budget that money can now be withdrawn from an ISA then later put back in without losing your total ISA allowance.
Does anyone know when do these rules come into affect?
Also, do these rules apply to stocks and shares ISAs?
Thanks,
Oliver

The answer to both questions is no.
They are being consulted on but no date fixed yet. Only proposed to apply to cash ISAs.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
I believe I read that they want the "putting cash back" rules to come into effect in September of this year.0
