O/S Daily Thursday 2nd April 2015

Made DH breakfast and need to do a quick tidy round before going to bank, chemist and library - possibly the weekly market as well.

Still have a mountain of clean laundry to sort later and need to make up beds ready for DDs and SIL arriving tomorrow. So tired but need to get things done when I can.

Still have fish pie from yesterday so can have that for lunch and will rummage round freezer later for fish or meat to do something with.

Lovely bright day again today
I am just waiting for DH to come home then he is taking me out and then out for dinner tonight
The kids have done me proud and got me some lovely pressies and I had a long lie in so I feel quite bubbly today.

Well at last some sunshine and a bit of blue sky thank goodness.
I'm now off until the 20th so can have a bit of a relax and catch up with things indoors, and may even do a bit in the garden:rotfl:

I have some washing on the line and need to do some housework which I will do in a bit. Its so nice to be able to just sit and relax. Will have to do a bit of shopping today or tomorrow, but don't need too much to see us through until Tuesday.

DS is working a lot of the weekend and DD has started her revision, as its not long until her exams.

Well what a palava I've had, I was given no aftercare instructions with regards to the procedure & have been left in the dark literally & figuratively. I had to return to hospital as things didn't go to plan.
DD has managed to zoom my pc screen so I can get online, she has also loaned me some dark glasses so I can manage to get around the house.

I'm off to read back a few days to see what I've missed

Afternoon,

Fabulous weather today

Well the new suite was due to be delivered in an afternoon slot - between 12 and 7pm, I popped out this morning and came back just before half eleven to find a card through the letterbox saying they had tried to deliver at 11! Did get is sorted and they came back and it is now installed in the Lounge. Had a bit of a fiasco as it wouldn't go through the front door so DH had to take the middle pane of the window out in the Lounge and get it in that way. Why do they make furniture too big to go through a standard door? Good job our windows are huge!

Afternoon all,
Misty today but not cold.Have been to bank to withdraw money I owe brother which he lent me a while ago when I was short of cash, he is not in any hurry but I am as like to know that the money in the bank is mine and only mine!

Made a bigger than usual bowl of porridge this morning and for once am not in the least hungry....could manage a bar or two of chocolate but nothing else.....so dinner of clams and spaghetti is on hold for a bit, OH has started on peanuts and is unlikely to want anything else so I will have soup later on.

DD4, DGS2 and DSILto be are due back tonight from their visit to his parents......Bran will be delighted to see them and Mossy will be sorry to see him going home, but glad to have his own space back.

DS3, DGS1 and DDIL2 are off to Florida for 10 days on Sunday.....tried to get $100 dollars from bank to give to DGS1 but they didnt have them....was surprised but will get them in Post Office on Saturday....banks are closed until Tuesday.

Planning on spending the rest of the day finishing a baby cardigan I started yesterday, must put buttons on some of the others I have done.

DGD mummy was ill yesterday so DS and I took her for her check up on her hand.The doctor was very pleased with how her finger is healing and she's down to a small bandage now.He said she was very brave and asked how old she was- 'I'm still 3 ' was the reply ( people keep asking her)

After went to get the keys for DS new house and the landlord hasnt put the new oven in :mad:- the glass door is smashed on the old one and obviously cant be used.The agent was mortified and rang him and he's promised to do it asap.Not a good start,luckily DS2 is planning on doing some painting first so not moving out just yet.

My niece came this morning,its her day off, and we went to buy the eggs for the children,then delivered some and DBs grandsons birthday pressie.Hadnt been back long when she text to tell me she's won an award from work & a weeks trip to New York :j

Right,better start the tea or there'll be complaints from the workers
