its too slow! and with all the deals right now with free or discount laptops (and me wanting a laptop) I feel I should go elsewhere.
My 18month contract is not up till next year, so...
CAN I leave early?
How much will they charge me to leave early?
Is there any way to leave early for free?
thanks in advance

Only if you pay for the rest of the contract to the end of the 18 months. Do more research next time as they are the most complained about ISP and you would have found that out if you had looked. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

sarcasm maybe?
And when I went with them there was no hint that they were crap. I had been with AOL, so they seemed great at the time.0 -
You'll just have to pay the remainder of the contract0

It is mentioned in this section of MSE often that Tiscali are the worst ISP - but maybe you didn't look in here, not everyone does0

No fact, they have been the most complained about ISP for years, do not have a clue about customer service and their billing is a joke. Unfortunately you cannot get out of your contract early without paying. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I'm sure all he was asking for was how to get out of the contract, not the opinions about the most complained about ISP0

The answer was given in my first post but they have earned that bad reputation and have had plenty time to improve if they wanted to. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I have had no problems been with them for 4 years.

I didn't know about MSE when I switched, and I thought I was doing so good getting away from AOhell.... LOL!
I will call them anyway, as the speed thing is getting to be an issue. However, if they offer me an upgrade I will be careful about getting tied in...
thanks everyone0 -
see thinkbroadband ispreview etc. for users opinions. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
