Hi,
I've looked to see if there's been any info on the Clydesdale 2 yr fixed rate isa, but all I've seen is the 40 day notice one.
The 2 yr fixed rate has 2.10%. has anyone considered this. Any pitfalls?
I'm surprised there's been no mention of it.:)
I'm considering opening this for the 2015/2016 year

It is mentioned in https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/401374, probably the best "bible" for cash ISAs.
It's another Branch-only product so only of value to people who have a YB/CB near them.
You might be aware but since in the past many people haven't been: you can only make one deposit into this account. If you do not max your allowance (£15,240 next year) with that one deposit, the only place you can make further deposits into next tax year will be an S&S ISA. And of course you can't make withdrawals, and an unspcified charge will apply to early closures.
