hi all
is there any way of checking (and deleting) anything that is running in the background ?
sometimes my pc runs slowly and often it running very noisily,
which to me suggests programs running in the back ground, task moniter usually show the 2-3 progams i am running but performance is running at 3.7 gb and cpu at 70%
i would typically be on fb gaming ,email open and bbc sport page or similar,,
thanks

What browser are you using, what does task manager processes show is using the high % cpu ?0
-
which o/s are you using , if xp or 7 , type msconfig on the startup , you can then remove unwanted start items0
-
Task Manager can show what programmes and services are running, and you can sort and filter by CPU utilisation, even end rogue processes, HOWEVER ending tasks can adversely affect stability if you don't know what you're doing, it's certainly not advised as a first option.0

First of all uninstall Rapport. It isn't needed, slows things down, and is a potential security risk.0

Install Malwarebytes (free version) and give that a scan through too.0
