Hi All, (ORANGE/EE Tel No 177010012)
Has anyone had a problem with this particular number it would appear to be a sports texting channel that drains your Pay As You Go Account.
I have never subscribed to this channel and on at least two occassions now I have virtually lost £20 as they text me and charge approx 0.10p per text.
I have managed thanks to information from the internet to 'STOP' the calls.
I now want to investigate proceedure to claim my money back from Orange/EE, this organisation is not particularly forthcomming with a solution.
Has anyone experienced this problem as I need Guidance and Advice ?

You need to ask Orange for the contact details of the department responsible for running the service as your complaint is with them. If you're not having any luck getting in touch with them then you can complain to PhonepayPlus: http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/0

A quick Google suggests you text STOP to 177 to stop these texts coming. If you haven't done this already then it's probably a good idea to do this first. THEN complain to Orange/EE and demand a refund as you hadn't signed up to this service.0
