oh is it only certain people in this forum that can get DLA apply for /PIP and get blue badge0 -
I think your consultant will have to be able to argue that your husbands difficulties affecting his ability to do daily living activities assessed by PIP are likely to be long term, without improvement , and nothing can be done (like fitting a pace maker). But check with his consultant. And ring the British Heart Foundation. They may be able to give good advice on outcomes, how to deal with this situation etc.
As a more general thing. With a major heart attack, your husbands weight, cholesterol levels and blood sugar levels need to be spot on. Whatever it takes.
With your son.., see if you can get any assistance. Try National Autistic Trust for advice on what is happening in your area. If he is a young person as opposed to a child, there may be a Autism specialist social worker team in your area. They can be very helpful. After 9 years caring for my son, and asking for resources constantly, I've only just discovered they exist lol.0 -

Certainly not. But putting in a speculative claim only goes to slow the system down further.
Your first port of call will be the 'time' rules. Have the needs existed for at least 3 months - will they continue to exist for another 6.
Then have a look at the descriptors, pick the ones that you believe that you would qualify under and ask yourself have you got good medical opinion and evidence that would make a complete stranger believe more likely than not that you do in fact qualify under that descriptor.0 -

Ignore him. He is a well known troll.
It may be worth you visiting CAB or another welfare rights adviser to see what you're entitled to.

Only recently he has had to give up his golf (legs are giving up). Prior to then he was playing 18 holes 2/3 times a week and walking everywhere + swimming and cycling.
It is most unlikely that your husband would be sufficiently disabled to qualify for PIP because he has a pacemaker.benniebert wrote: »Isn't that what is causing these huge backlogs? So how many speculative claims have you put in Andy, as many as the number of AE's you have had on this forum? Complete strangers on here don't believe you so time to head off to your caravan for Easter and do a bit of drumming on the side
OP, ignore him.Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama

Do you have a problem? Personally I feel that you should refrain from making these silly and outlandish posts as it is quite obvious to me and the rest of us that you have a fixation problem.
Maybe the next poster that you target will not be so able to take your comments with a pinch of salt as I do.
So please stop now before you cause serious harm to someone.0
