I don't think that you'll find any 'deal' that is better than buying iPad separately outright, especially if you can use a 0% credit card to pay for it.
  • With an iphone 6 plus, do you really need an ipad mini?

Find a good contract for the iPhone 6+.
Buy an iPad Mini for a good price (don't expect much off the RRP).
    That's probably the cheapest way.
When you take a contract out the network subsidises the phone, if you buy a cheapo phone, the retailer can add in a 'free gift' (it's not free!) but in your case you're looking for 2 premium products, so you'll just be adding at least the price you'd pay on the high street, to a mobile contract.
And good luck if your 'free' gift goes wrong - you would have much more rights if you bought it seperately online or on the high street.

Not really - unless you buy directly from Apple.

This is a tricky area in consumer rights. Technically when something's free there's no contract with the supplier, so you're not entitled to get a faulty item fixed.
Yet if it was a free gift as part of a purchase, eg, if you sign up for a mobile contact and get a laptop with it – that's different. Here, you've exactly the same Sad Fart rights as if you'd paid for it. Most sellers are aware of this, but, if they try to fob you off, stand your ground.

BTW, iPad mini is £199 at Apple, but £180 at Amazon (fulfilled by Amazon) - and cheaper at less reputable retailers. That's ~10% of RRP.
  • I think Im gonna order a mini ipad direct from Apple. Not sure where to go the iPhone 6+ so many deals about and its so confusing trying to get one.

Have you checked out Martin's tool here on MSE?

I can't get separately into my head, I swear!
It's an iPad Mini, not a mini iPad.
grumbler - I thought that these free gifts, if they went wrong, the retailer would just shrug their shoulders and say 'sorry, it was free, do you want your money (£0) back?'
But buy from ANY retailer, not just Apple (we're talking TVs, games consoles and anything else you can get bundled) and you'll have your usual consumer rights. Why would buying from an Apple Store give you more rights than any other retailer?

It's separation and separator, not seperation and seperator, isn't it?

    Well, MSE seem to disagree.

Don't know about iPads, but when buying an iPhone from Apple directly you get 'unofficial' extra 1 year of warranty on the top of 'official' pathetic 1 year.

So, the only difference I see is between Apple and any other retailer and when buying Apple products.

John Lewis give you a 2yr warranty on Apple products. Not sure what the second yr support is though (obviously yr 1 you can go via Apple or JL).
