I use https://www.Free-PCHelp.co.uk
They have a link to DCT3 codes which saves you having to buy a data cable.0 -
I have been trying to unlock a DCT3 phone without a cable. I have entered the LOCK1 code correctly, but there is a LOCK2 code which all my attempts, via various on/offline calculators, have been incorrect. It is still restricted to the original network.
This is the best one that I have come across

It gives you Nokia DCT3 codes, including LOCK 2 codes. In fact, it goes up to LOCK 4, but I dont know why you would need that.
I have succesfully unlocked quite a few phones with this
Good luck

I am on pay-as-you-go T mobile. Once I unlock my phone, can I use any other payg provider on my existing number? ???Any advice is appreciated! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I think you have to port your pact? number across to the new provider. you get the code from your server T mobile.not the same code you used to unlock it!
if you buy another sim card for the new chosen provider it will come with a new number.
Im sure that one of the other will explain the correct terms.my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0 -
I recently tried to port my number from BT to Vodaphone, when I bought a new phone but didn't want to change numbers - BT gave me the pac code free of charge but Vodaphone said it didn't work - I gave up in the end and just changed numbers.
Just tried to unlock my sons Nokia 3510i with Karlsquizzes program but didn't manage it ???This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

@ cebolla ~ you only get 5 attemps so if you have entered mroe than five codes you need cable. If you havent, let me know and ill work out code for you.
@ travel_freak ~ yes you can put your old orange sim in the phone, wont affect the phone anyway.
And if you unlock it there is nothing orange can do as you own the phone, and they wont do nothing about it, so you'll be fine.

Many thanks for your reply - only just spotted it as I had forgotten which board I had posted my query on! That's great news - especially as someone has posted news of some free Orange payg sim cards with free texts. Thanks again!0
