Free phone unlocking

This guy is offering free software to unlock tons of mobile phones so you can use someone elses simcard in your phone, my daughters Nokia 3310 was unlocked in seconds and saved me £10 that the guy at my local market wanted. There's also loads of free ringtones on his site too.

Nice to see there are still some decent people about that aren't trying to get every penny out of us

Hi there! I'm trying to do this at the moment, but just wondered, does anyone have any idea what DCT3 code is?!?! :-[Please visit - www.justformumz.co.uk - a new website for Mums, Mums-to-be, and even Dads too!0

not sure but when I used this unlocking site found via the search engine on martins site http:unlockme.co.uk/
they just asked for the IMEI number and what network it was on. they then can back with code and how to insert it. hope that helps.my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0 -
jellybabe,
DCT3 is simply a NOKIA handset which uses a certain algorithym to calculate/create the lock code. The newer models ae DCT4 and require a differnet algorithym. It seems that the newer ones are easier to unlock without cables.
I have been trying to unlock a DCT3 phone without a cable. I have entered the LOCK1 code correctly, but there is a LOCK2 code which all my attempts, via various on/offline calculators, have been incorrect. It is still restricted to the original network.
I think that the only way to unlock these, if the code calculator doesn't work, is via a data cable which are quite cheap and full instructions are available at the unlockme site.0 -
Excellent find Sally, thank you !!!!
I have a Nokia 5210 which I just unlocked with the karlsquizzes program. I didn't know if I had a DCT 2/3/4 phone, or whatever, but the program tells you, and gave me the unlock codes and told me how to enter them. Easy peasy !!
I've now got an O2 card to work in the phone and have 300 texts free every month...saved me a fortune. I mailed the guy who's site it is just to say thank you for taking the trouble. I'm so chuffed, I even sent him 50p via paypal, and that's not like me, hehe.
Now I just have to work out how to get some of this guys ringtones to work on my phone and I'm a happy man !!!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi,
I have one of the free Orange Avon pay as you go phones. When I got it I asked if I could put my existing Orange SIM card in it as I wanted to use two numbers. The chap in the shop said I couldnt as this would automatically invalidate it.
I'd also like to unlock it so I can use other SIMS.
Does anyone know what will happen if I do unlock it and put a different SIM card in - can Orange possibly monitor what I do with the phone and cause it to stop functioning if I do this? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am from Barcelona and know nothing about mobiles...! Grateful for any tips!
Thanks0 -
There is a really good site - which gives out the dual unlock codes for the Nokia phones - you have to register but that is no hassle really - I have successfully unlocked a Nokia Dct 3 phone using this site.
the url is
http://nokiafree.org/
Give it a try - but do be warned that if you enter the codes too many times you will render the phone unusable!!! ???This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
@ cebolla ~ you only get 5 attemps so if you have entered mroe than five codes you need cable. If you havent, let me know and ill work out code for you.
@ travel_freak ~ yes you can put your old orange sim in the phone, wont affect the phone anyway.
And if you unlock it there is nothing orange can do as you own the phone, and they wont do nothing about it, so you'll be fine.0 -
Its been adviced before as well but for the people who havent seen the post here is the link you can get your phone unlocked for Free

Is there any way I can make my 3g sim work on a non-3g phone... I don't care about anything else except the calls.???????
SpikeyUse your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself.I walk with the world & the world walks with me!I don't make bad choices!!! Other people just fail to see my GENIUS !!!!0 -
No that isnt possible AFAIK. 3 will block your SIm if you try and send you a new one IIRC
Beware nokiafree.org BTW, their automatic code generator is generating incorrect #1 DCT 4 and has been for a while.
