Just thought I would update you...
Called RBS yesterday who advised that I need to write in with all details and evidence (which I already have done).
Their claims department will then assess if I am eligible for a chargeback... if not, then and only then will it be assessed for a s.75 claim.
He said that all claims must be in writing, nothing can be resolved via telephone and all claims are assessed for a chargeback first (even if the consumer has asked for a s.75 claim).
