Hi there
I'm new to this site and only have a couple of days left to lodge a 'soft' appeal so I'm hoping someone will pick this thread up quickly.
I've looked at the flow chart mentioned in the NEWBIES post.
From which the question -- Is Parking Enforcement and Security Services (PESS) considered a 'Small' company ?
Should I lodge a 'soft' appeal anyway ? I'm guessing not, I should wait for the NtK.
Thanks for any info provided.

As long as you are the registered keeper, wait until NTK arrives so they can make more mistakes.0

Hi there
Firstly thanks for the replies.
Next, I have taken the advice, read the umpteen pages of info and the POFA Schedule 4, waited for a NtK, sent an appeal using a slightly modified MSE template .....
..... and got the expected Rejection notice from the PPC's collection agency PCS.
I have written out a POPLA appeal and would like to know if there is someone out there who would be willing to give it a Once Over to see if I have made any errors.
If there is would they please let me know on this thread how to communicate with them and how to get copies of the appeal and any other info they require to them.
Thanks in advance.

who did you appeal to? , and who answered your appeal0

this lot make me laugh , they actually pass your "debt" to a DCA before sending out a NTK http://www.pessuk.com/page.php?id=320

I wrote to PCS after they sent a Ntk to me and they sent a Rejection Notice and POPLA number by way of reply.
Appeal to POPLA not lodged yet, hence the request for someone to give my appeal a once over.0 -
the appeal to PCS was pointless , the letter from PCS was not a NTK , it was a notice to owner ,
in this case its a pity (we did not know at the time) that you did not make an appeal directly to PESS , because they would have been in the doo daa had PCS replied with a denial
more and more companies are booting out there in house setups and going direct to PCS to do all there back office and appeals
due to the POPLa code PCS are now out of the loop and only PESS should be able to argue with you at POPLa0 -
The letter from PCS is entitled "Notice to Keeper or Hire Company" and is made on "behalf of their client PESS". How is this only a Notice to Owner ?
Am I correct in thinking that I should have sent my letter to PESS directly or does that not matter, Then or now ? The letter received stated that written appeals should be made to us i.e.PCS.
And still no takers to check out my appeal to POPLA letter ! However it is noted that it is only a short while since I posted my request.0 -
ok , are you saying the NTK you received is completely different to this one0
