I finally paid off my loan after 8 long years....never take a consolidation loan....it just does not work!!Starting Total in September 2019 = £38287.77
Current Total = £25534.10
33% of debt paid off so far
Debt Free by Christmas September August July June 2023!0 -

aww nice to see y'all doing so well. I've been away from here for nearly a year - still on my journey but doing so much better than I was. Everyone on this forum was so helpful to me when I was getting going and feeling so dark... It can be done and shall be done

Woohoo, after much saving I have cleared my HMRC overpayment debt and am now sub 17k overall. Feels good!LBM.....sometime in 2013 £27,056. 10 creditors
June 20.....£7,587.....3 creditors left 72% paid
£26,200 on interest only part of mortgage (July 16)...will chip away £17,103
£49,200 repayment mortgage ( July 16) £37,7640
