    Two INs today

Went for walk (just short of 7 mile round trip) so I could visit a large Asda to get some smaller '3 for £3' hand cream tubes for backpacks/travel kit - only to come away empty handed as they had none in !!

On the way back I called into P0undstretchers for something else, and decided to check their toiletries section while I was there. They had a tube (at 60ml it's larger than I really wanted for my backpacks, but still smaller than anything I currently own) with a tin of lip balm, for the princely sum of 50p. So I picked one up to see what the handcream is like, and if I get on with it (and can find a way of fitting that size into my backpacks) I'll bob back for more at some point. I'm not a fan of lip balm in tins, but a single quick use suggests it's nowhere near as bad as those I tried many years ago!

Hopefully no-one minds a discussion topic but I'm looking for good hints and tips for my travel toiletries /makeup (I'm on the dreaded Ryanair).

Particularly looking for recommendations of good dual-ended makeup brushes, stick products like blushers etc.

Wilkinsons have a range of Real Techniques copy make up brushes. I own the double ended eyeshadow/liner one and it's good.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    UU to report:

    - Aussie Miracle Shine Shampoo - WMBA but trying to go back to non-sulfate shampoo.

    - Aussie Shower Mate Watt Up - WMBA if on a good deal, was a nice smell.

    TA:
    - Sanctuary Glycolic Peel Kit - this leaked in the drawer and was all sticky, so had to go.

I also have a surprise LOVE item - the Solait Tan Remover Body Scrub - this was reduced to 50p in Superdrug and it is surprisingly good!

As I am moving house I am also considering having a massive clear out of make-up items and just keeping what I use everyday - which is pretty much a handful of items - what do you all think?

    Products down to 54.

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.

Monday evening I found a few (part used) toiletry items in a box of 'odds and sods'

Tuesday evening I've found three carrier bags containing toiletries - mostly part used items, although one of them included the hair dyes I just knew I had in the house (3 of them). So at least that'll save me a few ££s over the rest of the year as I only do it every few months. It'll need to be done late August (before a wedding) and possibly early December for OH's works Xmas do (depending on what they do/where they go), so that leaves me another for between now and end Aug - probably early next month as I last did it late January.

Need to go through everything else I found and sort out what needs to go where for storing / how they'll fit into my use up plans !!!!

    Hello again everyone!

Another UU! What's going on here? It's clearly a good month for getting rid...

UU: TBS Vitamin E Illuminating Moisture Cream. WIBA I have a few more in stock. It's not bad - there are probably better ones out there - but I have neither the time nor energy to go looking at the minute, TBH.

Plumpudding - I have sold makeup on ebay before. If you are selling lower end brands it is better to group them together to make it worth the postage for the buyer, if it is high end listing them individually is fine. There is no option to list used make up but people do and I have too. List it as 'new other' and be detailed in the description.

Another UU - Mitchum powder fresh roll on deodorant. WBA smells nice and does the job well.

    Two UUs today:

Next Gold Eau de Parfum 30ml: When I first tried this, I thought it was great and a good dupe for my favourite scent - Lady Million. However, after using it a couple of times, I realised that it wasn't as good as I first thought. WNBA.

Superdrug Paradise Body Spray 75ml: HG - WDBA.

I popped into Boots today and picked up a couple of things I have wanted for ages and used a plethora of vouchers so I have a tonne of points to spend next time! Here are my INs:

Boots Euphoria Mist Body Spray 75ml
Boots Chic Dream Body Spray 75ml
Boots Botanics Cleansing Toner All Bright 250ml
Carex Moisture Plus Hand Gel 50ml
Garnier Oil Beauty Body Lotion 400ml
Boots Skin Clear Deep Pore Facial Treatment Scrub 150ml
    Aussie Miracle Beach Waves 150ml
