I had a bit of TA day today:
- Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner 200ml
- Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic 200ml
- Asda 50SPF moisturiser
Products down to 51.
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -
Another UU here Issey Miyake, luckily I already have a replacement!Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
WOW! Just what I have been looking for!
I have been stock piling stuff for ages! Not checking if I need something before buying another and now want to use up all my stuff. I too have lovely perfume but don't wear it. Lovely nail varnish but don't make time for myself to do my nails! Moisturisers that promise everything but don't make the time to use them.
I am determined now my children are older to take better care of myself and pamper myself more with all the things I have. I am on an economy drive and love using up products I already have.
Looking forward to checking in again.
Best wishes

Welcome Frizz2! I also had a eureka moment when I found this thread a few months back!0

I have some INs to report
The happy one first:
My lovely Mum bought me a bottle of Crabtree and Evelyn Taroccco Orange shower gel as a treat. :j
That's fine, but then I bought...
Nanoblur (5ml), Hydraluron (5ml) and Snoxin (5ml) in a little set from Boots. (It was £5 off and I've always wanted to try Hydraluron).
I bought 'Healthy' magazine for the recipes but also the free dr.organic Snail Gel Hand & Nail Elixir. It's very runny and not that moisturising (hope that helps deter anyone else that is tempted!) The good points are the fresh lemongrass scent, it's in a handy pump/tube combination and it sinks in quickly. I'm not dwelling on the snail gel part! :rotfl:
THEN, in an insecure-about-my-skin moment I placed an order with Superdrug during a better than half price promo on their Clearly Youthful range (anti-ageing and spot fighting, which is what I need right now, sadly...) I bought the day and night serum, the 3-in-1 cleanser/exfoliater and mask and the spot clearing gel (the only thing I needed).
Well. That look awful written down...

Just UU a sample of Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil - no idea where it came from but it is good. Read reviews about it and it is highly recommended. Has anyone used it ? I might buy the full version.
Also 1 IN from Red mag freebie Rodial Super-food Glam Balm Multially.0 -
Finally got round to finding this month's thread.
Hello all and thank you for being such a prolific poster ValM, one click on your name and 'find more posts by Valm' in March's thread and there you were on this thread.
I've had a couple of NBI's and very lovely ones. A friend gave me 2/3rds of a 200ml jar of BS Hemp body butter which is making a brilliant foot cream and is super economical.
Am*zon also gave me a much appreciated 37ml Total Effects day and night moisturiser set to review. The day cream has SPF of 15, which is essential for me.
I succumbed to a half price argan oil handcream in A!di, (89p! for 100mls) Will probably use it as a foot cream once the body butter is used up.
No UUs because most stuff is full sized and on rotation to prevent me getting bored. Which means it will probably all run out at once, apart from the bubblegum scented Aussie shower gel. Still have 4 and a half of the 6 I was sent in Jan/Feb.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Welcome Frizz2.
Willowbee - I bought a full size Nanoblur and totally hated it. It didn't work under foundation, over it or under or over moisturiser. Let us know how you get on with it.
I have a uu
Revlon Equave Shampoo 250ml - this did nothing for my hair so DD used it up. WNBA. I do love the Equave leave in conditioner though which is why I bought this shampoo.
I am doing well this month, I have had no ins apart from my nail polish. Me, DH and the kids are having a spending ban for the whole of April, if it isn't a consumable or an emergency (repairs etc) we are not buying it.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

8 shadow show body scrub WBA liked the scent and the scrub.
9 hallabong peeling toner WNBA nice enough.
10 gold label face cream WNBA took ages to sink in so have been using this at night finished it off as foot cream.
11 FC soap in Alice WNBA fell apart, lovely scent but difficult to use.
12 penny black soap WBa nice enough.

I have another uu
Lancome Genefique Yeux Eye Illuminating Youth Activator Light Pearl - 5ml - crikey what a name. This was a GWP size and I WNBA based on the fact that 20ml is £44, it was OK but I didn't see any benefit from using it. Have replaced it with another the same size.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
