Like the idea of adding up the cost of my stash but I'm terrified! I reckon the cost of all my make up would be at least a thousand! NEED to use stuff up and have a sort out. Today is the day!

FizzWhizz was it you who bought one of the new Loreal nude palettes? How is it? I was very tempted but am trying to talk myself out of it - i do not need anymore eyshadow!

KT2802 - don't buy it, you said yourself the other day you hardly use the eyeshadows you have. Buying it will make you feel worse not better.

Like the idea of adding things up as we use them, I will keep a tally if I can. There is no way I can list the value of my stash, it would take me forever to work out and it would be truly horrific. I reckon I must have £200 worth of shampoo alone and I have one eyeshadow palette that cost £65:eek:.

What Mrs-MP and dolly said ;)

If I learned anything about my big clear out yesterday, it was the number of duplicate-coloured eyeshadows I have. Many are neutral, but they're on the cooler end of the spectrum and I didn't have much at all in the pinky-brown, purpley colourway so I feel ok about buying that palette :o I'm forever telling my daughter off for being bossy so I'm not trying to tell you what to do(!) but if you're really that tempted, why not have a look online for swatches and see if you can find similar shades in what you already own? It might make you look at your current stash in a new light and might save you £15 :)

I nearly floundered today, I passed Boots on the way to get DS2's birthday cards and the No7 voucher in my purse was calling to me; they're on 3for2 and you can use both vouchers at the same time if you mix between skincare and makeup, effectively one product free and £8 off the other two. I had a mooch and half heartedly picked up a couple of bits but then reality struck -- my skin has vastly improved since I have stuck with an oil cleanser and the Superdrug Naturally Radiant day and night creams, the more I bu&&er about with my skincare the more spots I get. And the makeup item I was looking at was YET ANOTHER eyeshadow. So I took a deep breath, put the stuff down and left :). Repeat the mantra… "It's only a bargain if I really need it"…

Then I went to Aldi and bought foot cream :rotfl: but in my defence, my hoofs have been so horribly dry recently and after UU the too-rich face cream on my feet and noticing a marked difference, I thought it was a good time to try a dedicated foot product. Therefore one IN of Lacura Hydro-Urea Foot Cream for the princely sum of £1.99. I'm sure someone on here has sung its praises in the past, was it And?

Let me know how you find the Barry M polishes, I love the No7 gel effect polishes so would be interested to know if these are a good cheap alternative! :)

Here is the link to the offers page http://m.clarins.co.uk/special-offers/specialoffers/ I believe the offer is on until the 27th or while stocks last. The free gift is worth £59 so excellent value! :money:

Trying to be strong - I would have plumped for the body tanner and the SPF tint but it's sold out, and don't really want to spend the money just for the sake of it. See, I AM getting stronger!!

Drive by to report I'm alive and still muddling through the cabinet that never empties.

    UU:

Simple travel size face cleanser. Nothing special.
Boscia travel size face cleanser. Ditto.
Pure Makeup remover wipes (full size pack) Can't buy in Canada.

I'm going to push on with the sample sizes because they take up so much room (came to that brilliant decision after opening two full size cleansers one on the sink and one in the shower).

Weather is starting to get better. No snow left. Dog off to the groomers tomorrow for his spring clean. I suddenly realized he's turning into an old dog. I'm worried. I swore he'd be our last and I love the beast, floating, fly away fur and all. He's a bit lame suddenly and he's had this crusty stuff on his nose for ages and the ointment from the dogtor doesn't seem to do much and I've worked myself up into fear by reading about nasal cancers in long snouted dogs.

    Off to hug Senor Collie.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog, I hope he is better soon and that its nothing serious. We have a terrier cross we adopted from the Dogs Turst and he is the sweetest, can't believe anyone would want to get rid of him! He loves his tummy tickles, I'm sure he spends more time on his back being rubbed than anything else! :D

Well done, I know offers are hard to resist! But as I often see on here, it's only a good deal if it's something you need :money:
