    It will be a 5 minute hearing to determine a date for the trial proper.

    seems this is the Intermediate Diet hearing ,
    Which, for those not familiar with the terminology, is similar to a Directions or Case Management hearing in England.


    Its purpose is for the court to decide what evidence, witnesses etc. will be needed for the actual trial.


    So just as well nobody travelled up to Aberdeen for that.

    I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx.
