Well thanks to princessmelody's enthuiuasm for eBay, I actually listed things today as part of my 100 listings.

I have 1 watcher which means nothing as probably selling same item.

BUT I decided to have a look through the bags in the spare room to see what could go on eBay and what to the charity shop.

I found an old letter from a friend from 2013.......

And best of all.......... I found
£100 that DH had given me last year and zi had forgotten about :j. It was in an envelope with his name and he gave it to me last summer. I must have stuffed it in this bag, I have a habiut of hiding stuff in bags and hiding the bag to make the house look tidy.

Well I can tell you that was a welcome find. Now I can pay for DS' swimming lessons and Beavers, and importantly buy some hair dye!!!

I had some in the bathroom but it must have been out of date as the colour did not take and my white hairs are more prominent than ever.

My lovely friend also gave me a 30% discount voucher for super drug which will be well used. I only shopped at boots when stuff was glitching or had lots of coupons to spend. Always shopped at super drug before that.

So thanks flylady for the 15min inspiration of tasks, if it hadn't been for that, wouldn't have looked in those bags.

I was drawn to one shop which had notices everywhere saying 'All Clothes £1' but I'd never seen such tat in my life:eek:. I think it was stuff they hadn't a hope of selling anyway. Even at 5p I wouldn't have bought it. Definitely no profit to be made there.

The other shops were expensive with designer and 'good' brands priced at £3 upwards each (mainly well upward of £3) so after selling fees etc on such as eBay I wouldn't be making anything(I don't do Facebook).

Back to the drawing board for me then:o

I'm glad I've inspired you, keep looking! In my nearest town I have about half a dozen charity shops ranging from cheep shops selling things for pennies to more upmarket charity shops trying to sell high street brand 2nd hand clothing for as much as it is new.

In the next town I have the 99p charity shop which is quite big, in the next town from that there's another much larger warehouse style 99p charity shop which I LOVE!!!

I heard from the postal thingy - atm they are oversubscribed for my postal area so will keep me on hold Oh well - it was worth a try and might come around.


I'm so pleased you put up panel base - just realised that I hadn't had anything from them for a while. I checked on their site and they had a problem with my contact details ?? Anyhow - now sorted and have to update my profiles, which I'll do tomorrow. I did quite well with them before - so fingers xd.


Maybe I should go around all my old sites and double-check. It might help if I update some of the profiles on these as well.
