well done, not got into clixsense yet, think I need to ditch a few more survey sites after cashout first and then look at them

yes think it was last year, they have added a few others too, argos, m and s, bhs I think, loads actually, just looked down the list again.

but you will only be able to cash out on certain ones when you have a high enough rate to exchange for them.

    http://www.topcashback.co.uk/Help/5

that might list some of them

    paypal, bacs, amazon, tesco...

mumstheword I think it depends on where you are. I was priced out of selling clothes at boot sales years ago because everyone was undercutting and when I stopped everyone was selling 10p each

Tanku lynne, didn't know there was a Flylady thread on here :D

Off to bore myself to sleep with surveys x

Well done on the house sale and acceptance :T and good luck with the clearing out

Gosh Azzzaa - what a great day - How much you made today ??

There are two MSE sites some of you might find helpful along these lines

    1. Weekly Flylady Thread 20th April 2015 - new each week

    2. 2015 - No Clutter To Be Seen

Back on track I have added £9.57 today from weekly scans, surveys and cashback.

Hope you all have a money-making Monday

Hi Lynne:wave:. I hope you're feeling some improvement with your foot:beer:

I used to read the second of the decluttering threads that you mentioned (2015 - No Clutter To Be Seen) but I gave it up because there were pages of posts every day by people who listed every single thing they threw out every day such as empty packaging from things they'd just eaten, wine bottles they'd just emptied and salad from the bottom of the fridge that was past it's edible stage:eek:. I automatically recycle that sort of thing as a matter of course, it's not what I call 'clutter':rotfl:. Not enough hours in the day for me to read all that thread but I'm sure it helps a lot of people and I wish them the best of luck with it:beer:.

I didn't get on with the Marie Kondo approach either, sadly. My fault not hers:o. I'd love to be in the position where I could just keep things that 'bring me joy' or whatever her term was, but being so hard-up I often have to keep and use things that are almost clapped out just because I can't afford to buy what I'd like to. There's a big thread on her method on Mumsnet but I found nearly all the posters on there were obviously quite comfortably off financially and dumping/giving to charity enormous amounts of stuff every day, things I could only ever dream of owning in the first place. I ended up feeling very disheartened and stopped visiting the thread:(

All of today sales total £32.70 - £11 of that will be going on postage fees so in theory Profit I have made £22.70 but that £11 has been spent on postage from my normal bank account and put back into from the £33.70 into my savings account so although i haven't made £33 profit, i include postage in my savings earnings as it all goes into my savings account!

I hope that makes sense :p
Azzzaa. Full of enthusiasm to copy your brilliant idea of buying for pennies in charity shops and selling for great profits elsewhere:j I trawled the charity shops in my nearest small town when I was shopping this morning. Total waste of time:mad:

I was drawn to one shop which had notices everywhere saying 'All Clothes £1' but I'd never seen such tat in my life:eek:. I think it was stuff they hadn't a hope of selling anyway. Even at 5p I wouldn't have bought it. Definitely no profit to be made there.

The other shops were expensive with designer and 'good' brands priced at £3 upwards each (mainly well upward of £3) so after selling fees etc on such as eBay I wouldn't be making anything(I don't do Facebook).

Back to the drawing board for me then:o
  • By this rate I'll be stuck with nothing to redeem come May!

I agree with you on both the above - I get a bit fed up with people putting recycling on the de-clutter - what on earth would my house be like if I didn't rc everything  As for the MK - I think she's just seen a way of making money selling the book. I'm the same as you and most of my stuff is second-hand - get better value that way eh ;)

The Flylady thread on MSE is just a group of people helping ourselves to get and keep the place clean and tidy on a weekly basis and also being extremely supportive over other things.

The foot is slowly improving thanks, but not up for a lot yet :(
