Ahhhh! I apologise - I rather ignorantly believed that if it applied to me, then it must apply to all! Didn't realise there were different rules for different degrees.
Makes a weird kind of sense I guess, otherwise there would be "Eternal Students" who potter through life taking degree after degree....
sigh.
Believe me, there are eternal students who play the system. In my assessing days, I had one student who was in his 11th year of study, with funding.
Hoping that loopholes have been tightened on him, but I'm not convinced they have.0 -
