I win IAS appeal against UKcps owned park

Charles/Barold, it would also be useful to see exactly what your appeal to the IAS said; because if someone is able to submit the same appeal as you on the same grounds, it would be interesting how the IAS could turn it down.
And even more interesting asking them to explain if they did.0 -
If you have a 'proper win' you get a report back from the adjudicator giving reasons.
Not sure about these 'non-reports' It may be that in the pre-sorting process the IPC tells the operator they have no chance and the appeal is then conceded. This means that the real reasons never have to get into the public domain. I know there have been some of these 'non-reports' which come back within minutes of the appeal being filed.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -

I totally agree. Also if IPC guarantee its members 80% success i.e. appeal failure, I'd say that's prob based on and 80% lack of a testicles out appeal. These people aren't stupid enough to chase non winners. Believe me, I gave them nowhere to go, and they would have lost in court. Then again even I could be wrong. I sent in nearly twenty pics in support my claims, displayed a willingness to cooperate, even sending duplicate appeals when ukcps said they hadn't received them. Allstuff like this was cited and wouldn't look good in court. I also sent in the IPC appeal hard copy on CD - this time rec del. It all tells them your serious.0 -
If you went to small claims you would possibly have been given your costs back, did they?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

What makes you think IAS decisions are based on the appellant's likelihood of winning in a court case? It's not the IAS who would lose in court! And we've seen plenty of joke IAS adjudications where the appellant's case was legally bombproof but still the IAS has twisted, distorted and ignored the appellant's grounds in order to engineer a refusal.
Congratulations on your win, but you're not going to convince me that your sheer brilliance and tenacity has won this for you. In my opinion you were just lucky i.e. yours was one of the few appeals they must allow in order to pretend that their appeals process is fair.
Of course, if you were willing to show us your appeal we might see that you have indeed hit upon some ground-breaking and utterly irrefutable appeal point that no-one else has thought of and which they simply could not ignore, but since you refuse to do so I'm sticking with lucky.Je suis Charlie.0 -

Hang on, supposedly the IAS threw out an appeal by a very senior QC, do you think they would not be held accountable. Give credit where it is due Mr B, the boy done good. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Lets see your appeal in full then and the IAS response.0 -

I don't know how he did since he refuses to show us, all I see is him congratulating himself over what appears to be sheer good luck. On another day he'd probably have got Skippy's standard perverse and snide rejection.Je suis Charlie.0 -
thanks Ralphy. see my previous reply to eddy. The actual specific content wouldn't be that useful to others and my just confuse.
Barold, I think that 99% of the posters on this forum would disagree with you here - the actual specific content would be enormously useful; not least, as I said before, that if we have examples of appeals that the IAS has allowed, then we can use them as a basis for testing the consistency of the IAS approach.
If you would be so good as to share, then we would all appreciate it.
Thanks very much in advance.

If the appeal was based on information gleaned from here I think it would be poor form not to share it. I don't see how it would confuse anyone and it wholly agree with Zero Gravitas.0
