Hello all a newbie here :j

Is it possible I could join you next week? My home desperately needs a bit of TlC. Please could someone tell me when the new list for next week will be up and running.

    Many thanks

    Happy Easter! :EasterBun

    Well done Valli

    Welcome Daisy

Kiddies had a little Easter hunt this morning, which they seemed to enjoy. DS is just old enough to work out clues so that made things more interesting. I used plastic eggs and letters for an anagram to work out the next hiding place, so not too much sugar. We are going on a national trust organised one later...

We are going to a friends for easter lunch too, so won't be around much today.

Rather cross that I seem to be gaining weight after all my good work, and I've not even had an Easter egg  tis most annoying when I've been good.

Welcome Daisychain1 the more of us the merrier. The new list is generally posted on Sunday eve, you'll see a post called "new thread" so you can click on it then subscribe.

Well the church service on the cricket pitch at sunrise wasn't too cold and the sky had a lovely pink tinge before being shrouded in cloud! Nice to have the service then chat over coffee and hot cross buns (which I can't eat :( ). Some people were talking about what they would do having got up early - confess I went back to bed.

Up again to give the Xmas pud a final boil then do a bit in the greenhouse. The chiminea and little fountain are now officially outside for spring/summer. 4 different types of bean seeds are in to soak, to plant this eve or tomorrow.

Shower had, now off to "Xmas dinner" with friends.
Have a Happy Easter everyone. :easter:

Happy Easter (was about to put morning but seem to have missed that boat!!)

Been up a while and busy
    So far today I have
    1) WMX1 TDX1 all clean stuff folded ready to be ironed
    2) Washed the kitchen floor (OMG did it need doing!!!) It's a job I hate and I always put it off, silly really, it didn't take that long AND I moved the 'fridge out and mopped under there:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I'm just about to go in the shower and get dressed and then I'm tackling the space under our bed:eek::eek::eek::eek:, we have a new bed being delivered on the 15th so I need a good sort out!!! Wish me luck!!

    Good luck Msgnomey. Welcome Daisy.

I have walked the dogs, hoovered downstairs, cut the grass back and front (will need doing on shorter setting tomorrow though), planted marigold seeds (thanks HB) and am now having a burger and glass of milk.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Happy Easter, everyone.

Lovely to see you yesterday and have a good ol' natter, CY.
    Welcome, Daisy.
Glad to hear you've found a new canine companion or two, HB.
    Enjoy your new ratties, froddy.
GWS to Mr Kitten - my knee does that, and I still haven't found out what causes it.
Your table cover looks very smart, Valli.
    Beautiful flower arrangement, Narc0.

We slept through until 8.30 this morning - shattered after a week of travelling and keeping up with the grandchildren - and am planning on gardening this afternoon and visiting my friend in the nursing home this evening. Must make a couple of phonecalls and do some washing too.

See you all on the new thread this evening....

    Recycling bin nearly filled

Well I have sorted through 1 of the underbed drawers, just having a coffee and a breather cat was most disgruntled that I moved her from her hide-hole

under bed drawer number 2 empty!!! Not quite sure what I'll put in them now, they're both empty and all of the stuff that was in them has been binned, re-homed or set aside for next cs trip. As they are wheelie ones I have put them i the spare room for now as there's not much point in putting them back empty as I'll only have to move them again when the new bed is due

now about to pull out some 'unknown contents' filled boxes
