When they send these e-mails their website does seem to crash with too many people on it. Try again later when it's quieter. I did switch recently okay but can't remember which tarrif I switched ontoChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

The Blue+Price Promise July 2016 is currently the cheapest for a standard meter. Go to https://www.edfenergy.com/til and compare your current rates with the new one, or alternativly wait until 'MyAccount' is up and running again and compare that way.0

I switched in January to the June 2016 Blue Promise. EDF recalculated our monthly payments from £114 down to £96.
Barely got to the end of March before we are hugely in 'debit' therefore they're now saying our monthly payments should increase to £120!
They boast about using numerous criteria to determine estimated annual usage (we've been with them several years so they must have a great idea of what we use), so it seems to me they 'underestimated' to temporarily decrease payments as an eye catching hook.
I've said NO, they can increase to £110 & wait longer to claw back the debit. Just seeing what will happen now, I can pay the £120 they've asked for but resent their way off the mark decrease.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -
Been with EDF for years and they send regular emails about where I can save. The latest being Blue and Price 2016. However, they still want a lot more monthly than I'm paying now. (£14 a mth more!!)
MSE energy club is saying that I can save £206 a year by switching to NPower! Saving £17 a mth....That is based on figures for my 'projected annual usage' today provided by EDF.
I'm tempted, even though I cant fault EDF customer service and easy to understand billing etc.debt free...yippee

The unit prices/standing charge are all that matter, ignore DD amounts.0
