Hi there - just bought my elderly Mum a Blaupunkt TV 32/141l from Amazon thinking that it had a headphone socket - she is deaf. I have set up the TV but can't get the headphones to work. The instructions say that it has a 3.5mm headphone /audio out but I can't find it on the instruction booklet diagrams. I am not very technical - at all - can anyone please help me?

I see what you mean it is marked earphone input.
99.9% sure it is a headphone output.
No idea why it says that, you can see on the next page in the manual it shows it being used to drive a soundbar.0 -
Tadleybaggie - I thought that - but it says earphone input and doesn't work with the headphones (Sennheiser)0

Thanks, Kurtis - see my reply to Tadleybaggie!0

So seems like that should also be earphone output? It does cut off the sound from the TV but not going to the headphones . Sorry to seem so dense but I am getting frustrated!0

Reading the tech specs and bottom of P17 there is no doubt that is a 3.5mm headphone socket.
Either the headphones or the Blaupunkt is defunkt.0 -
Ok - that has clarified the issue, thanks a lot!!Could be that Mum has wrecked the second pair of headphones in a year - or just hasn't been bothering to charge them - at least I have more of an idea what I am doing now - so grateful to you.0

Can you actually get a headphone input? Surely a headphone socket would always be an output?0
