No. Mine looks like this:
I don't think my statements or other documentation mentions 'Clarity'.
I thought they'd sent the wrong one, but it works as expected.0 -
Thanks...that's a relief, thought I'd messed up there!0

Online, mine shows "Halifax Clarity Mastercard" on my accounts summary.0

I have one and my wife has one, both in our own names. Both are Clarity cards and both function as Clarity cards should.
Mine shows up online as a Halifax Clarity Mastercard but my wife's shows up as a Halifax Mastercard.
I think it depends on when and how they were originally set up. For example, during the recent online statement debacle, my wife's statements were perfectly viewable but mine were not, and it took weeks for Halifax to (hopefully) sort out my issue. From the little I have been able to gleam, I gather that different cards are set up on different HBOS/Lloyds platforms and the integration appears to be a nightmare.0 -
Hello.
Slightly off topic of what the card looks like but I got one of these and earlier this month I was in Spain. I wanted about 1000 EURO off the card. I took 400 on day one and 400 on day 2. On day 3 it was declined at various automatics in the resort.
I called Halifax and she told me you can only get 50% of your credit limit (mines is £1400) from the card. That these are "new" rules to protect people from over spending.
I am sure it must have mentioned this in the paperwork but I never checked as I hardly ever take cash off a credit card.
But at the time I was getting 1.40 EURO to £1 with this card and wanted to take advantage.
So just something to bear in mind to anyone getting one and wanting to use it for cash withdrawals.
Sorry to have taken your post off topic.

So in the above example, there is a £700 cash withdrawal limit on the card. If the card was used to withdraw £700, then this was paid off, would there be £700 available again? Or is it a monthly limit?0

Hi. Yes I done a balance transfer to the clarity and was able to use it again before the end of my holiday as the balance went down to ZERO.0
