That is horiffic, although the idea of someone letting dogs into the field is not a new one on me.

We have some occasional grazing land near us and people are asked to keep their dogs on a lead (signs on the fences leading to it). The cattle are not often there, one time we came across a couple with their dogs off the lead when we could see cattle were grazing and mentioned it to them, they said that the cattle had no right to be where they walked the dogs, they said they drove 10 miles to give them a good walk and were very upset at the prospect of having to put them on the lead for a short while. Fortunately several people came by, all with dogs on leads, and they saw sense, but they were still very annoyed that someone had the cheek to graze cattle on their dog walking land  To be honest, some people are just ignorant and/or selfish

yes police are looking for a white van that the dogs came from but not enough information, hopefully someone knows who it is, we have had several prosecutions recently for animal attacks but this is the worst yet..
