On my lunch break.
I'm glad today's the only day DS has to be in work with me at lunch time, he has done nothing but whine about getting his lunch since 12pm. He'd forgotten to lift it off the kitchen counter. When I told him normal school lunch time was much later he said he wasn't at school and lunch should be 12pm, no later!
He's happy now but not looking forward to this afternoon because his iPad's out of change and he forgot the charger. He'd only 3 things to remember and he forgets 2 of them. It's been a long day and I'm sure the ladies I work with are glad we only have our own kids in every so often.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Afternoon all. Does the Ts prosecco give a good return still? Might be an idea to stock up on that whilst this 20% is on if so?
I might have cause to indulge in a bottle soon. Had an interview today. Went very well. Was at a company I worked for two years ago. I think it's just a question of when I start rather than if :j
I'm excited but trying not to get my hopes up too much*stares at phone*

I know that we all loathe and detest sky but despite this I cant find any real fault with them.
We had major broadband problems earlier in the month, literally we were dropped back to the stone age, could not hold the signal for more than a few seconds before it dropped out. So OH who is very techy worked the usual magic with no joy, checked the sky help pages but still the same was happening. Then as a last resort he had to resort to ringing them.
In all he rang 3 times, the 2nd time seemed to work but didn't so next day he rang again and the call took over 25 mins but eventually the sky IT department upped our line speed and peace and harmony returned :j.
I've just checked the call bill for the month and found these three calls cost nearly £4  - so I went through live chat as usual and then I asked sky to call me - never any problems doing this. Nice chatty girl on the line and I explained the situation - it turns out my OH used an 0844 number - no idea where he got this from, obviously not on the sky website
- google is not always your best friend
- bad enough that OH uses this number once but three times .
Even so the nice lady has refunded the calls even though sky were really not at fault. I've put a sticker on the phone with "150 sky" on so no one rings an expensive 0844 number again“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

It's reduced £6.99 in Ts just now and compares to As £6.00 one. So about £4.25 after 25% disc and PP....if you buy 6. Not too shabby for good stuff
Good luck with the interview0
