    Evening all

Ive got my cataract op date 1st June.

Sal - the cataract op,is a walk in the park. When the surgeon gives you the pre op 'chat' tell him you are nervous and ask him to talk you through what he is doing as he does the op. I was as tense as a virgin when my first eye was done cos I didn't understand what was going on or the strange noises and sensations. The second time they told me exactly what was happening and how long each bit would take. Much much better that way. I got off the chair and could see immediately. No problems at all but must be careful not to rub the eye or get soap etc in it. No makeup for a few days and take it carefully with lifting or bending.

You will be amazed at the difference in your vision.

Can some kind person please help me ! I'm in the middle of refreshing my APG vouchers while on holiday and I can't remember how to cancel the perishing order. I don't want 4 bottles of expensive whisky delivered !

Ignore all that - more by luck than judgement I seem to have managed to press the right button to sort it out.

Blame it on 'holiday brain' and all this ultra clean Slovenian mountain air.

That is so nice to hear you have fond memories of this nursery rhyme after all the upset you have had, I hope it brought a smile to your face.:)
You are anxious and the wait 'til june will make you more anxious, but you are a strong person on here and im sure you are in RL. It seems your OH believes in you supports you and has backed you up, therefore this so called 'boss' who said from the beginning they didn't have a problem with you and your outspokenness should not call herself a boss- she needs to go on a people management course so she can treat her work colleagues with dignity and respect. You need to believe in yourself, yes you have had several jobs, but to have the confidence to go to new places and to even try to fit in in a new work place takes guts and determination.
So therefore you miss Evangeline start off by yourself with your cleaning, take it slowly, find a couple of friendly clients to start with when you get on the first rung of the ladder you will be surprised at how many people want someone trustworthy and capable, the older generation are always in need of help, you could find it very satisfying, you could pick and choose who you wanted to work for, you could choose how long you wanted to work each day and what days you wanted off.
This will be your former bosses loss but your gain, you are brimming over with confidence but just need a little advise and steering in the right direction for you. weigh up the pros and cons and go for it- (but do it all above board if you go it alone):)

Just wanted to say thanks for that rather than just clicking the thanks button, that was lovely of you to say :)

I'm glad I didn't offend you. It's one of my future worries for DS2......I sometimes think he will need a saint to employ him :o

As someone who employs a cleaner, I'd urge you to at least consider it. It's much easier to build up a good employer/employee relationship without a middle man. It might also do your confidence the world of good if you can make a success of it.

Most importantly, you have been signed off for a reason. Use the time to get yourself right. Or glitch.......whatever works for you :p
Thank you :) I think any any employer would be lucky to employ your DS2, from what I've read on here he talks a lot of sense :)

Just wanted to clarify what I said last night though, although I'm aware that I do often misunderstand what people are saying this isn't the case with this latest incident. OH has read the texts from my boss and agrees they are outright nasty. My boss in my last job I may have misunderstood and a lot of that may have been my fault I'll admit. Boss previous to that is being investigated by police because of how he runs his business so that problem wasn't my fault.

I will agree though that the biggest problem I have in the workplace is my inability to get along with people :o

I think if you click the tab "my orders" it should show several latest orders with a cancel tab next to the newest one, HTH

Edit: ignore me too, I see you've found the solution :o
