Howling winds and driving rain here. Wheelie bin just blown over  Jasmine keeps glaring at the chimney as its so noisy. She now has M&S cat treats - I sent DH out with clear instructions and he managed to find some. He also got some for the kittie who lives across the road that we'll be babysitting over Easter :T0

I lived and worked in Shetland for a number of years and in winter you got 4 hours sunshine and in summer the Lerwick golf club had a golf tournament on midsummers day called "the simmer dim" at "nightime" as it didn't get dark at all, just a twilight.
So to be honest clock changing hardly makes a difference.
Thank you!
We have now an extra hour before dawn because of the clock change, but how long before it's cancelled out? 3 weeks? 4?
Not much point in that. But in the meantime we have to suffer losing an hour's sleep and adjusting to this change to our circadian rhythm.
And as for people's arguments about not going back to GMT in the autumn - does it really matter whether it goes dark at 3.30pm or 4.30pm at midwinter? Most people don't finish work til 5pm at least, so it will always be dark by then.
It's only a game

DS2 took a bit longer and would be smelly occasionally, but didn't have the aversion to showering like stepson. I always packed clean clothes and underwear for my kids if they stayed anywhere. Stepsons mum is a dirty lazy b***h so there's not much hope for her son to learn good hygiene habits unfortunately.
Could she be playing a game with you? Telling stepson that your home is his second home and Dad should be supplying and washing clean underwear?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
