Just popping in to say hi :hello:
Ds2 been poorly for around 4 weeks now, seems to be one bug after another rather than one long oneHe had 2 weeks off school - I did try to send him in twice during the two weeks but school phoned both times to come and pick him up. He then went in for the last few days but was quite lethargic and still coughing with a bad tummy. Since Friday he has gone downhill again with a high temperature and is not even keeping water down now. He's spent today sleeping, refuses to even try to eat and says his neck (throat) hurts but not coughing so far. He was my little chunky monkey but has lost half a stone in a month, trying not to be an over anxious mummy as I know there are loads of nasty bugs in the air at the minute but starting to worry now.
I hope he feels better soon. I would take him to the GP to be safe though, particularly if he can't keep water down x'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

No good , tipping points on so im off, lolMumto2monkeys wrote: »Ah bless him, I would say follow your instincts... You can't be too careful with little ones. If he's not even keeping water down I would say make a doctors appointment Asap. You don't want him to become dehydrated as well.
Hope he's well again soon.Good afternoon, strewth sorry the lo is unwell, I would second a doctors appointment if he isn't even holding down water, he may need his blood sugars tested, especially as its gone on for so long, hugs to him and you:)
Thanks all, poor little mite just tried to wake up but I think his energy levels are so low he just cant keep his eyes open. Our docs has open surgery in the mornings and you can phone up at 8.30am to book in for a morning apt as well so will do that unless he gets any worse this evening.0 -

Supposed to be going to a pre booked fun day at Altrincham Ice Rink tomorrow but it's looking like he'll miss it. Oh can take dd2 on his own though so at least she won't miss out.

sorry but had to remove a couple of posts because asking for donations, and donation links, are not allowed anywhere except on the Charities board (if it qualifies under the rules)0
