    Hello,

Need to stop reading on here and get out to do stuff! I have got prosecco this morning.

Lovely day yesterday at Iron Bridge Gorge Museum with DH and DS2. Like going to museums where you can take the dog. :rotfl:

Spent Sunday laying the hedge down one side of our garden. I did a course at a local agricultural college 20 years ago to learn how to do it properly. (I remember this as DS1 was about 6 weeks old!). I don't think the tutor would be too impressed with my technique, but it has made a huge improvement to the garden. Need to get rid of the 'brash' now. DH seems to think we need to call in a garden clearing service as we can't have bonfires in a smokeless zone. :(

DD is having an op on her elbow tomorrow. We have to travel down to where she was at uni and stay over night. Booked a cottage through Airbnb. Need to buy some nice treats for when she wakes up.

    Happy Tuesday! HE x

Got overcharged on an RTC cake last night Never seen fancy cakes reduced to 10p before in my store Got some for DH and neighbour Was charged full price for one Went to CS She said she loved those one but never got a chance to get them She processed my refund AND gift card as I went to get her RTC cakes :T

    that was kind of you.
I always think the staff must get frustrated putting the whoopises through the till when they don't get a chance to pick them.
A big T nearby is like a scrum when they put out the final reduced stuff, :eek:the poor staff get escorted with security guards as people fight over reduced lettuces and carrots :o OMG it is awful to see.
One member of staff told me she got spat on recently by these people who were fighting over the RTC stuff. The staff should not be expected to work like this.
Personally I think the store should make a stand and not reduce the items further to customers and instead let staff have first pick.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

This actually happens in our local S...a member of staff clears the shelves ...takes it out the back the staff have first refusal and what is left is then returned to the shop floor as a reduced item....I dont tend to get too much there,my T or A are far more cuastomer focused.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

I never bother with whoopsies in T unless no one else is around as it becomes silly. There always seem to be a small number of people with trolleys overflowing and I do wonder if they are running restaurants or distributing to family/have large families as there is no way they could use it all before it goes off under normal circumstances. I have to remind myself I cannot judge as I have bought multiple items when there is a really good deal but do hold back if others are around :A.
