    Hi

I watched five episodes of this as well last night. I kept thinking just one more. I looked up and it was 1 o'clock in the morning:eek:

I thought it was really good as well.

I thought it was always wise to have travel insurance as well as the EHIC/E111 cards? As most of the eu countries don't have as good an NHS so even minor ailments would end up costing you a lot of money.

The EHIC only gives you the same medical coverage as someone in that country would get, so if the medical coverage is pants, you also get the pants version. Whereas travel insurance would get you NHS/Private coverage.

I'm guessing you have travel insurance anyways so it probably didn't matter. If it helps at all :)

A friend of mine went out to greece with an EHIC card but no travel insurance and unfortunately had a fit, and he had a brain hemarroage . He had to raise £16,000 from friends and family to get him pre-treated and safe to fly. Fortuantely he crowd funded it but it was an expensive mistake

I might be making this up, but I'm sure I read somewhere that some travel insurance companies wouldn't pay out unless you had presented your EHIC card first?

Yes should be good. Maybe another episode tonight. Still very tired after my flu and vertigo problems last month. Managed to get back to gym but I am building up slowly.
