I think there will be many benefit claimants and many Elite members who all do good charity work and try to provide things for those worse off than themselves. There will also be those that take the mick and do all they can to make sure they do the best they can for their families, no matter what they need to do to achieve it.braveheart60uk wrote: »Also depends on what you give to the community and receive. I have known many people on benefits and unable to work, due to illness etc, they run groups/do charity work/are good neighbours.
Big corporartions do pay wages and thus income tax etc,but some do avoid paying corporation tax.
If anyone feels uneasy about glitches, remember many "deals" are created to dupe the muggles into thinking they are getting bargains.
Final note, yes some do this to make a profit, but also to give their families and friends a better life through saving them money they can spend on other things, also throwing in some fillers for local charities can be useful for others.
In life, there are good guys and bad guys and it is impossible to decide who is who. Maybe it is time for us to tell our MPs how we feel and hope that the benefit rules are changed to be fairer to all..:D
However, if we hope that our MPs improve the benefit rules, how will we, the Elite, police ourselves so we stop shafting Sada and breaking their rules at every opportunity?0 -

I am about to play devils advocate.
People have hugely different lines (we have all discussed this many times already).
We screw Sada hugely every single day by bending/breaking their rules.
Benefit scroungers screw you and I every single day by playing within the government's rules and not breaking the law.
Who is worse, us for breaking Sada's rules and taking them for every penny we can or the benefit claimants for doing the same thing but playing within the rules?
I know what I think, however surely it is just a matter of lines and where we draw them??:think:
I'll preface this by saying love you love your glitches but I'm not feeling sorry for asda anytime soon:
"Oct 2014
Asda boosted its profits by an impressive 23 per cent last year although the supermarket managed to see its tax bill fall thanks to a complicated web of subsidiary companies and royalty payments to its US parent, Wal-Mart.
The UK’s second-biggest supermarket saw pre-tax profits jump 23 per cent to £913.8m for the 12 months to the end of December, according to accounts filed at Companies House. Sales rose 2.1 per cent to £23.3bn, while its tax bill fell 4.1 per cent from £157.5m to £150.9m.
The tax bill was legally reduced by a £62.9m share options payment and £132.3m handed over to Asda’s US owners for technical assistance, services and royalties.":A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -
Ah, so you have been to Newhall ?Why are people who don't work getting more than the people who do work & pay tax? It's the government I blame, who wouldn't want something for nothing if they are handed it on a plate, no wonder so many people want to come live here:mad:
Or the Gosely?0
