Tv in general bores me they seem to have dumbed everything down and there are that many stations now I guess their budgets are low and therefor the shows are :(
Oh and the reality shows  Your career is over you should have budgeted wisely ;)

    I don't buy them, I just read online! :D

Quite agree, and thanks Mildred. Far easier for the media to blame it on the immigrants though! :(

The media has an awful lot to answer for, and the articles they write are specifically designed to rile people up, and clearly it works. I take most of it with a pinch of salt. A few years ago there was a murder round the corner from me, very sad story, family were killed and my DD was friends with their DD. After seeing the utter rubbish that was written then, particularly given my job where we were privy to actual facts about it (as well as an awful lot that wasn't disclosed to us) you realise just how much is made up, or re-hashed into completely over the top sensationalism.

I know you are right about the media - but this particular woman was interviewed by Closer magazine and her comments about 'right' etc were what she chose to give them.

At least I've got people comenting about something other than the rights and wrongs of shopper greed or whatever !

Off on holiday tomorrow so I won't see any more stuff in the papers to rant about as I'm too tightfisted to pay £2 or £3 for one while away !

I totally agree with you about the media and the way they report these stories. I know very little about benefits and entitlement to them so I can't comment on that. And wouldn't even if I did :o
The thing about the Mulberry shop and a £900 handbag was total speculation. Nowhere in that story was there any proof of what she bought....if anything at all? All that was reported was the typical price of one of their more popular handbags. She could have bought a key ring for all anyone knows :rotfl::rotfl:

And how sad that the press are following her and her family around in the hopes of finding something so ridiculous to print in the papers as to report which shops someone visits. I have my thoughts but won't comment on how many kids she has and some of the other stuff in the story. All I do know is I feel bloomin sorry for the kids because they're the innocent ones.
