    I don't buy them, I just read online! :D

I have the sun+ but would rather read what was happening on here ;)
Closer to my life that some celeb is doing the dirty behind someone else s back. Or a premiership footballer was seen in a nightclub stood somewhere near a 16 year old
Sensationalism to filll enough pages and sell them.
Must admit never missed reading them

Plenty of discussion about benefit scroungers with lots of kids on the thread today.

I am about to play devils advocate.

People have hugely different lines (we have all discussed this many times already).

We screw Sada hugely every single day by bending/breaking their rules.

Benefit scroungers screw you and I every single day by playing within the government's rules and not breaking the law.

Who is worse, us for breaking Sada's rules and taking them for every penny we can or the benefit claimants for doing the same thing but playing within the rules?

I know what I think, however surely it is just a matter of lines and where we draw them??:think:

Also depends on what you give to the community and receive. I have known many people on benefits and unable to work, due to illness etc, they run groups/do charity work/are good neighbours.
Big corporartions do pay wages and thus income tax etc,but some do avoid paying corporation tax.
If anyone feels uneasy about glitches, remember many "deals" are created to dupe the muggles into thinking they are getting bargains.
Final note, yes some do this to make a profit, but also to give their families and friends a better life through saving them money they can spend on other things, also throwing in some fillers for local charities can be useful for others.

That would be how long they did last! :rotfl::rotfl: there's one left. I'd post a pic but it has DS2 real name on it. It has a post it stuck to it that says 'baggsied by xxxxx' :rotfl::rotfl: this practise has been going on since the great chocolate cake meltdown of 2014 :D

It's all about convenience this week. I'm busy with work and won't have time for culinary disasters and child poisoning :rotfl:

I know you are right about the media - but this particular woman was interviewed by Closer magazine and her comments about 'right' etc were what she chose to give them.

At least I've got people comenting about something other than the rights and wrongs of shopper greed or whatever !

Off on holiday tomorrow so I won't see any more stuff in the papers to rant about as I'm too tightfisted to pay £2 or £3 for one while away !

But again, she was probably paid quite a lot by the magazine, and I suspect that what she actually said was nothing like what ended up being written. Boring stories don't sell.

I am a single parent, work part-time, get benefits and go on nice holidays. Clearly I am a terrible person with no morals, screwing the system! :D

Clearly, I could give out a lot more information about the above, which would make it sound far better than it does the way I have written it, but its no one else's business. In a similar vein, we don't know the first thing about the family in the story other than what the media has chosen to publish.
