Good morning! Ruddy clock hasn't gone forward:mad::rotfl::rotfl:. I think it's because it changes when it reaches 2 o'clock (which is as was now on the old time zone) - in other words it would have gone from 2am to 3am (an hour late:p:eek::rotfl:). I can't be having such trickery(:rotfl:), so I've pulled out the battery to get it to reset. It doesn't appear to be picking up a time signal now:( - perhaps they're not doing any as it has expected to be changed and the change has already happened. The clock goes to 4 o'clock, 8 o'clock or 12 o'clock, depending on which is "next", before it then is supposed to pick up the signal and then goes to reset. So I'm now stuck on 4 o'clock:(:(:rotfl:. Goodness knows when, or if, it will now change and set - I think I had same trouble last year if my memory recalls correctly. I'm sure I'll now be scuttling between 8 o'clock, 12 and back to 4 until I can get the thing to start setting itself!0

What?!? Took you an hour and eleven minutes to respond!;):D
(I think, at one point, the thread managed to have you replying 49 minutes before FC's original post - some feat:D.)0 -
I think at this time of the year, as I've said in the past, I'm in the minority of people that don't like British Summer Time (we never get any decent summer again but that's a different point:rotfl:) and, now we've gone forward, I just want to do this:

I think I've never liked really liked it, and all I've done, over the years, is to add scientific evidence to my own not liking. So, it's time to drag this thing out again:

Wheel 'em out! Wheel 'em out!:rotfl:
And all this messing with my own wall-clock: it would have been fine if I'd left it alone but, I've had to meddle, and maybe the battery has gone now, now I've had to mess with it. I wonder how many other clocks die solely at the time because someone's tried to change them:rotfl:. Well, as for the thread title, the evening just now soon went by:(, but maybe longer evenings now:) - forcing me to get up an hour early for seven months of the year grrr:mad::rotfl:! Not as if it last even just half of the year, it lasts even longer:(:(.
Pass me the hoverboard - he's due to arrive in about seven months' time isn't he? Just in time for us to go back - I must admit my favourite nights are the dark October nights, when we have just put the clock back - nice star-filled sky, that lasts a bit and has midnight at proper midnight (aligned to the sun). But not so dark that it's dark soon after 4pm in December.
Oops, as I write - clock is on the move!!:T:T:T At last!:)
Hooray!!:j:j I'm now on BST!:T:D:):((:rotfl:)0 -
I'll doubtless bring out that tune again at the end of October, and use it for a proper celebration then:D:D. I know, most people will then be posting their moans!
Good night! (For what short one we have:(:rotfl:*.) (*I could not resist adding that little bit too much...)
No: Good night!:wave:0 -
Good morning all. Managed to get some rice yesterday and have some more on a C&C in about an hour. May do a quick early womble at the same time. Thanks to OP. They are very handy to have in for when you get in late from work.0
