On the Wilkinson Sword Hydro 3 Razor (was £3 last Wednesday), which was a Tvs M item, the consensus now appears to be to fail to display a price for that as they have the big £3.99 price offer label all the way over it covering the price for the Hydro 5 Razor. Yet I have one store that still has £3 SEL for the Hydro 3 behind the offer label for the Hydro 5.
:shocked:Oh! £3.24 for Hydro 3 Razor now for M on msm. Shows crossed out price of £6.49 and down to £3.24, when its price has gone up from £3 last Wednesday to £3.24!:wall:
EDIT: The £3 SEL however does have expiry date of 26th April! But I'm taking it off the list, with such unreliable info...
Meanwhile, I've removed straight off (as there's no prospect of comparison vs a not-yet-updated price) the 'buy in M' several frozen items that either appear to be no longer stocked or have increased in price - do you really want to know which ones? - and also the "B"P"B"V Oranges pack ('fresh fruit') which is no longer on 2 for £1.50. I suppose you could look at the M list on the last thread ("Enter, Laugh, Integrate..." etc.) and compare it with the current one to see what's now gone. I assume however you won't buy anything in M other than something that appears on my current list:rotfl:. So, therefore, you'd miss expensive 99p oranges packs as the item has been removed from the list!:rotfl::cool:
Nonetheless, the frozen-deleted are that Polanski item that was at 20p (and not available in all M stores), the LM Deep Country Pies that were really good at £1.45 but disappeared and never came back (who knows, you may find them in your M store:cool:), the Pork Sausagemeat that was RTC but I've never seen any stock-out to tell me it ever was cleared and has now been increased in price. Reduced to... sort of, reduced to get you to buy it this week and then we'll put the price up!(:rotfl::rotfl:)
Maybe it just seems to be a marketing tactic:(, just seems to me to be totally meaningless!
And the 50p packs of Cheese Straws appear to have gone. No stock, they went!! Reduced to clear, hooray, they did!:rotfl::(
Also the Cranberry Jelly at 49p - no trace but may be kicking around in store that hasn't shown their price, not visited yesterday! So I've removed them. And Savers Beef Stew tin at 50p, gone. That's what's been deleted (so far). Not that it's of any use or interest as seems little chance of obtaining it now.0 -
I know rarely get the time to catch up and then when I do I'm pooped and off up the dancers!!:o
OH family all from Hamilton just down the road from Toronto - always ok going but rhymes with rugger for the way back....
Promise to have a proper catch up when you get back - should have a bit of time during the hols .. I hope....
Good night peeps
Happy Glitching and belated hugs for all the missed birthdays...
Hugs to all that need them :A
Good night ..:wave:0 -
Can I just mention again Tilda Rices at 79p in M (the specific ones that M have). As I know this info. otherwise gets lost in a load of detailed post, as I tend not to "shout from the rooftops" enough.
Alternatively, you ain't paying attention (that you should do to pick up on this without me underlining it by a shorter post)!:rotfl:
Also things like this:
Rolson Junior Hacksaw Blade (150mm) 28p in M.
You may otherwise have missed if you didn't have a look at the M list!
I make it easy: I've put new items, like that, in bold.0 -
McVitie's Baked Crinkleys Mini Cheddars - Variety (7x25g) is available in M at 90p, but doesn't make it to the list. Just to let you know as msm has no M price on this one. Neither do the McVities Cheddar Biscuits (both versions) make it to the list, each is 54p in M, but currently have a rather useless 50p price in A to compare from:rotfl:.
There's also a European Travel Adaptor at £1 in M (may be store specific), but I don't think that's very good. I think we had Travel Adaptors at nearly free or better than free on some CB deal recently didn't we? So that won't get to the list either. But I'm mentioning it here.0 -
Hmmm... They seem a bit cheaper than S/P, or indeed cheaper than 10% off anywhere else?:
ASDA Butcher's Selection Chicken Wings by Weight (100g)
15p £1.50 / Kg0 -

How fabulous scamps. She is gorgeous. and so good to hear of a dog finding a good home through Gumtree as 'we' on FB fight against these ads as people advertising dogs especially Free to Good Home on this site are a mecca for 'people' looking for 'dog bait' for training dogs for dog fighting. I have seen some dogs rescued from such a life and it is awful. So a group of people trawl these ads and get in touch with the advertisers infomring them of the danger they are putting their 'beloved dog who we have to get rid of as we have just had a baby, sick of it, want a new puppy, and other excuses'. But we also advise them that if they are going to advertyise this way, to make sure that they do a homecheck and check out the people thoroughly, vet check or something like that. Rant over. Move on
If anyone is looking for a dog, someone mentioned wanting a puppy, feel free to pm me (must remember to clear my inbox as it is full lol) as I have many contacts and can put you in touch with someone. Happy to help anyone in this way. I am not talking Romanian dogs only here, though we always have some looking for homes, but plenty of UK rescue pups and dogs looking for homes. I always love to see a rescue dog of any sort finding a new loving home. That's what it is all about :jfairclaire wrote: »I'm off to bed. tomorrow me and DD are flying to Toronto.
A very important person to me has informed us he is on the home strait:( so we are going to say goodbye. He had treatment and it hasn't been that successful. he's only 53 years old
Ds1 is taking over the reigns here. Bless him :A because he would have dearly loved to come with me
So agree with our David about moaning about meaningless things. I'll be back on Friday for WW4:rotfl:
Sorry to hear this FC, glad that you can go and see your dear friend in his last days. Always a very sad time x x xMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Oh, how useless:(:rotfl::
Banks's Bitter (500ml)
90p:(
And the Kopparberg Pear Cider 500ml at £1 in M is the Alcohol-free version and turns out not to be the 4.5% version that is on 3 for £5 in A:(.0 -
There are in fact a fair few new items for the M list. It's turning out to be quite an epic this time, and I'm wondering if I might actually need a third post as an overflow!
There's Air Wicks at £5.98:D;) individual price and 2 for £6 that are £3 in M (need to wait for the update) that might be good if a missing item is available.
You're not meant actually to buy the d/washer tablets until there's a price change btw - hopefully they might go onto an, in effect, 2 for 1 deal in A.
I can still see the multis off on most of the 250ml Carex. The only ones I can see with the mbuy are the Original, Moisturising Sensitive and the Cola Bottles. And three versions that might compare against M at 90p (but not for Northern Ireland shopping) if you wait for the update - Bubblegum, Strawberry Laces and Cola Bottles (so maximum of one only of the last one in any one shop). Note there are other 250ml Carex in M that are full price!:eek:0 -
Tvs A I think. Given that M is £1:eek: on this.
Oust Odour Eliminator Garden Fresh (300ml)
£2.00 66.7p / 100ml
[Strike]95p[/Strike] 75p
Don't get Outdoor Scent as that is £1 in M and, apparently, not available in A.0
