LEDlights. it sounds just like usual Asda till staff trouting. if even that. sometimes if you are using a lot of APGs you get treated with suspicion. It part of the game. Calm down and spen the rest of your APGs another time with another SA
My APG (a bigger one too) wasn't even checked tonight! SA at SS didn't even want to look at receipt, just said put it into the slot and approved it. Well, okay:cool:. Never took the receipt off me and left it with me, unmarked. I tore it up, like a good guy though. Trans. no. did match, but SA didn't even want to look at it!:rotfl:0 -
thank you yes treat it like a game some you win some you lose
It's exactly that. I have a £14 odd APG to spend and I'll expect grief....if I don't get it, it'll be a bonus.
We all work out our own strategies for redeeming vouchers as there's a big variation on what's acceptable in different stores. Me.....I only ever use one and never on the same stuff as I've earned it on. I haven't the time to stand at CS being scrutinised.
You didn't lose, you sussed something was up and you paid cash. You still have vouchers you can spend another time. Breathe....put it down to experience and shop again0 -
little rant
I go to sada get my shopping got some jf oil at last got some tresseme got some tilda got my fillers got some sada vouchers got my recipts got some cash go to till BANG I start putting my shopping throught hand over a 0.68p a 3.54 and a 4.38 voucher she takes them mumbling next shop £12 hand over 8.54 she call someone on here machine she appears the two of them whisper so ive got 3 other shops on the conveyer belt all separated she says do you want to put them all together I say no that's fine there for different people so shes puts the next shop throught its £12 I give her a voucher 8.98 pay the rest then she sfars printing out smaller bits of paper I say why are you doing that she says its just in case I make a mistake 2 shops left guy comes up starts adding his shopping behind mine she stops scanning mine and says im going to be a while here can you go to another till I think okay maybe shes finishing okay shop gos throught ive still got an 8 from a carex shop I done on Thursday and a £12 from garnier shop in my pocket I start thinking to myself somethings not right here so 1 pay cash give here cash and she says have you not got a voucher there ok maybe im a wee bit painoid here but I say not why more mubbiling then a woman comes up starts putting shopping after mine she says im going to be a while here so I say how are you this is my last shop about 11 items so I pay cash again still having vouchers in my pocket !!!!!! has just happened to me and whats going on I felt that they were suspecting me of something anyone ever had this happen ? im not doing anything wrong !! sitting here wondering what has happened should I complain should I change stores
Personally, if I am doing more than one shop I pay cash and only use an apg on my last shop. It's already suspicious when you are doing multiple shops without handing over coupons with every shop. You are begging to be put under the spot light.
Just my personal opinion but sometimes it pays to fly below the radar, play the long game.0 -

yes.... yes okay .I. was. in rant., mode so heres youre ..............
Can't really make any sense of how many shops you were intending to line up one after t'other, but I'd say that was akin to setting off the alarm bells if it wasn't a CSA that you 'knew' well.
Canteen talk 30mins later....Deidre, I had some woman on number 3 just now who did 10? shops of the same things and kept paying with vouchers. Shall i tell the supervisor. Yes, you'd better, they could be fraudulent blah blah. It doesn't take much
Maybe a balaclava next time :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
