I'm late again as came back and saw the Garnier what they describe as "Ultimate" Blends. I figured that I could use them as two helpful fillers in a Sainsbobs shop, giving all their cost back then fewer items to have to get the 8. I think they should be minus 9p each.

I now note the Tresemme Treatment:mad::rotfl:.

No SP White Bread:mad:. No SP Cornflakes:mad:. We have people that are fussy about the type of bread in this house:(. I'm not going for Kellogg's cereals as would need greater outlay in the first place, still be paying more and I think the CNCF were cheaper on the Cereal Bars deal.

So, I ended up going down the Haribo 10p sweets and Mice 5p sweets route and several times over:(, as having to make up the amount of spend. I was also getting the SP Pork Pies as they are on a "good" price in A and N/A in Sains. I may be getting "cheaper" pork pies but then having to add 70p of fillers to make up the spend and the numbers. Rather defeats the point as I may as well have paid £1.59:eek: for the pork pies. Or otherwise the Garniers cost 52p:eek::rotfl:.

I could have put in another SP item, such as SP Apple Pies, but then paying near full price for that and not getting any 10% off as Sains. so flippin' expensive on almost everything!

The frozen veg. should be good again vs Sains, in 2s as Sains 2 for £2, due to have ended on 24th March, was rolled over. However, don't bother with the Sprouts as £1 for a pack is too expensive:eek: (even though it's cheaper than non-whoopsied 'fresh' versions at the moment), was 75p A and T a few years ago, and A's individual price is cheaper so does not add as much APG back. However, I don't know why anyone would be getting the frozen pack of Cauliflower Florets (1Kg) as part of that, given that the fresh cauli. is 39p.

I'll be back later, as wanting a little bit of time away from here for the moment (taking it easy;).) Nice, relaxing!:) I think Baby Potatoes (1Kg) can go vs S, although the Unwashed Potatoes are back at £2 in M and work out cheaper. Maybe some people would prefer wombles to get the Baby Potatoes as don't waste as much value as the expensive White Potatoes:eek:.

Rant alert - why are Halifax insistng that I go to branch which is at least a two hour round trip to renew when last year they sent out forms to renew the account? Why do they want details sending for a normal kids account to pay in the regular saver balance and interest when the account matures ... when these accounts have been running and renewed at least Five times and each time they have paid the balance to the exact same account (that was indicated on the application form!). Why are they taking tax off the account interest despite the correct form being completed to receive the interest without tax as these are kids accounts, yet they have no record of this AGAIN ...

If the bank makes a mistake ask for compensation for your inconvenience. I had the last comment happen to me and got £20 back in travelling/inconvenience expenses. In fact, I have made quite a few complaints to the banks recently and found they are now very obliging if you have been inconvenienced.

Thanks zippy and rhosynbac. My cereal shop worked at 3.30 today.
