Why would anyone want to use a 3g router as a bridge?0

His web site is in breach of Noninet own rules as its clearly a business he can't opt out in whois register

Want to do the honours ?

I'd never deal with a company that was using dishonest whois info..This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Ha ha ha! :rotfl: Well, then we'll happily never do business together! :T0 -
On quering the registration to Nominet, they are investigating.....

organisations like nominet are severely under resourced - they are unlikely to do anything.
Some quote about every problem is a nail, hammer comes to mind. There are so many factors to determine whether a website is dodgy or not.
Relying on whois lookup is just idiotic. A scammer can just as easily put a fake whois on the domain to appear legit. It's not like nominet or the domain reg company checks your ID. Just pay them £3 and they'll give you the right to use the domain. Simple as that.
Do a copyscape check on the site to make sure it's not been cloned from another. That's your firt port of call - if you're looking at a cloned site then the rest of the checks are pointless. (n.b. assuming the correct owner isn't mirroring his website for backup)
Uk landline - call the number
Address on webpage - does it tally with companies house website.
Do a company lookup on duedil - it's a very good way to determine the health of the company. The company in question has 118K in hard cash in the business with net assets of 155K, it's been trading for 14 years. How can you dismiss this company? What's more trade creditors & lenders trust the company enough to lend them some 188K.
check all the ancillary web pages at the footer - these web pages are rarely bothered with by scammers because they take so long to produce in quality and for a scammer it wont be worth spending time on. Anciallry pages are the FAQs, terms, delivery info, company info, returns policy etc. Established businesses tend to have loads of these pages as they produce them as and when they grow.0 -
They probably just don't like being messed about, there's a reason why they market toward business and IT professionals, they don't want to be answering these sorts of questions.
They might not even know the answers to these questions and purely act as a distributor, expecting customers to know what they need.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I checked their website and it clearly says they do not sell to consumers and as a business user having spoken to then they appear to be very knowledgeable and i can see they have been trading over 14 years so nothing strange about them at all.
probably just because you are a consumer and they don't want to deal with you.
Anyway - as a business customer I can buy from them and will continue to do so.0 -

So you just happened to search for this post from 4 months ago then register to post a sole comment about it. Clearly not the behaviour of a spammer, oh no.0
