    Well there are
    Leeds BS
    Yorkshire BS
    Newcastle BS
    Skipton BS
    the list is endless.....

If you have paid for you broker use them!.. after all they are only there to advise not to dictate to you. Maybe do some investigation into rates and find some for your self, present to your broker and see if you can work on something you all feel comfortable with.

so whats the point in getting a report ?

Majority of people never do. As have no need to.

If there's a need to. Then check that data recorded is accurate.

Hang on, I'm confused now. Your first post said you'd had no debt or credit cards for 8 years, then a more recent post says you're paying off a trip on your credit card?

I got my Experian report after being referred to underwriters and found that the report didn't have our current address even though we're on the Electrol Roll and have been here for nearly 3 years. After changing my personal details manually my score rose - I know the score is irrelevant but the address isn't. Now in limbo whilst we await the bank's decision I have told the bank's advisor and she said she'd let the underwriters know but it all seems very fickle.
