    Ok, so its probably not your partner that's the reason for the decline, if she's got a good repayment history.

    Im a bit stuck as dont know what it can be ?
    Just seen someone else on here had a decline with santander for no reason, could it be them ?

    Well, your lack of credit history is the most obvious possibility without any of us seeing your file! Your partner having a good one will not make up for that, they'll look at both of you as individuals.

    You need advice from one of the brokers on here because every time you apply it can lower your credit score.

    It could you need a lender that doesn't credit score but does credit searches. Bad credit can also be linked to someone at address with same initial.

    For the sake of £16 get your experian & equifax credit files. Pointless going elsewhere without checking.

    I have just done a credit check with Equifax and has given me a score of 528, when the uk average is 380, so surly I should be able to get a Mortgage, might need a chat with my GF . . lol
