Well, your lack of credit history is the most obvious possibility without any of us seeing your file! Your partner having a good one will not make up for that, they'll look at both of you as individuals.0 -

You need advice from one of the brokers on here because every time you apply it can lower your credit score.
It could you need a lender that doesn't credit score but does credit searches. Bad credit can also be linked to someone at address with same initial.
For the sake of £16 get your experian & equifax credit files. Pointless going elsewhere without checking.0 -

I have just done a credit check with Equifax and has given me a score of 528, when the uk average is 380, so surly I should be able to get a Mortgage, might need a chat with my GF . . lol0
