I have about £200 in tesco vouchers saved, so this is £800 in deal tokens but I can't find anything worth getting on their deals.
We were thinking about doing days out vouchers for legoland and hotel vouchers for staying over before and after as we'd have to travel by train and it takes about 3-4 hours. I am worried about booking hotels though as they have to be close to the station and they don't state where they are. I don't want to run the risk of the hotel being on main duel carriageways!
We had been saving for disneyland, but they only do the coach travel nowKids are very car sick so train is the only travel option.
Any ideas for using these vouchers up before they expire?
Staying by Legoland without a car isn't easy. I did it a few years ago, and it cost us a fortune in taxis.
Aside from Legoland, where might you like to go?
It's a bit longwinded, but you can look hotel addresses up and then use something like www.multimap.co.uk to see how close the nearest train station is.
Can your kids cope with cars at all? If so, you could DIY a trip to EuroDisney, you could get the Eurostar over there (they are pulling out in May though) and then hire a cottage with Frenchlife, and just hire a car while you are over there. You could do it without a car at all, but then you might be better staying in Paris and getting the train out to ED.When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0 -
Thanks for your reply pboae,
Its really hard for us as my hubby is the only one with drivers licence and he hasn't driven a car since he got it 14 years agoThats why we have to use trains - it's a pain that the kids get really travel sick in coaches/buses/taxis.
I just don't know whether its worth swapping vouchers into deals for us, despite the fact that they are worth 4x the value.0 -

We have had lots of holidays at Haven camp sites, and although we do drive, have noticed that at some sites holidaymakers with all thier luggage, waiting for a bus, presumably going to the train station. (Whether they are courteousy buses or not I don't know)Although I obviously don't remember all specific camps, some of them were on a bus route anyway.£800 will get you a nice caravan, we have just booked a GOLD one, overlooking the lake, with early check in for just under £1000, thanks to Mr T! ( we normally get the bronze ecoomy!)Might be worth checking Butllins as well!0 -
Sammyw;BTW have you tried any travel sickness medicines? I'm not a great fan of drugs if we can do without, but may make all the difference to your familys hols!!0

Hi
Ive seen clubcard vouchers for sale on an auction site. I was wondering if any of you have ever bought vouchers off another person and used them for a holiday? Obviously im worried about Tesco noticing that im changing them for deals tokens when they are in another name. Also when they are changed do they have a name on them and is this a problem with the holiday companies you can book with?
Thanks
Kirsty0 -
It's not worth buying vouchers for named deals like holidays, they will usually be rejected. You can buy them for things like days out and restaurants, which don't have names on. The person you buy them off will exchange them for deals first, and then send you the deals vouchers. When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0

There's not much around at the moment, you can go through quidco for your first shop. If you can hold on a bit, it might be worth waiting and see what happens, there do seem to be a few more codes appearing again now. When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0
