Hi, are there any points codes for Tesco Car Insurance knocking about at the moment? Renewal due on Saturday.
Thanks!
No, no points on house insurance atm the current offer is half price. It's a good deal did it myself.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -
I had a delivery yesterday and later in the evening when checking my bill I noticed that I had not received all of the promotional offer discounts.
I telephoned them and started to go through all the list and in the end they had overcharged me £26.00. It took about 15 - 20 mins on the phone with them at my expense. They said sorry and I received an email apologising for the problem with my order - no where did it say I had been overcharged.
Apparantlyy the money will take a few days to get to my account.
I was offered no compensation at all - my loss and absolutely no loss for tescos.
What have others experienced - should I try for compensation. I always thought if Tescos overcharge you you get the item for free.
Many thanks - i look forward to your responses.0 -
i complained on friday because i had a few bits missing, 2 things with that days date on it and a bottle of baileys missing!!! had a email this morning saying that they would refund me £22.65 back , the goods i complained about only came to £15.65 , not that i mind if they want to give me extra then so be it. ive complained a few times before for several things tesco dont give compensation but are more then willing to give you a refund for there mistakes ive never been able to fault them on that.0

"What have others experienced - should I try for compensation. I always thought if Tescos overcharge you you get the item for free".
Tesco discreetly changed their refund policy earlier in the year. You no longer get your money back and the item for free, you now get double the difference back.
(tesco display item for £4 but it comes up at £5 at the till. You get £2 refunded).0 -
Tesco are having a technical problem apparently at the moment with their promotion prices not going through (so I was told this morning) and when I complained they refunded the whole amount, so effectively getting the items for free. It is hit and miss I think as when I asked what the policy was they said they did not know but would refund whole amount as it was easier. I never phone the Customer Service , its too much arguing. I phone the store instead and speak to the Home Shopping Manager.0

It's alot of money to be overcharged - £26? wow thats a total !!!! up from Tesco. Your right to get on the phone to them about the overcharge... Now if you have one account you could chance your luck and email a complaint to CS. They may offer you a further refund for there mistake. Normally they refund the delivery charge too......
If you have more than one CC account I would not bother email themIf I have been helpful - Hit the Thanks button0 -
Hi Jools,
Are you saying that your vouchers have been cancelled and reissued?
One reason that Tesco do this is if the customer contacts them to say that they havent received the vouchers that were sent to them. Could this be the case with you - maybe you thought they'd been lost, but then they were found again later?
If you take cotsvale's advice and sell the vouchers on ebay, knowing that they have already been cancelled, then you'll get yourself into bother so be careful.
OMG I'm sorry if it read like that - I'd never suggest that someone sell cancelled vouchers on ebay. As the op was saying that they were hard up and having to use the vouchers at face value, better to get double face value than just face value by selling them on ebay and converting to deals for the winning bidder.0 -

It wasn't a good deal for me. The Tesco quote, even at supposedly half price, came in dearer than the likes of Liverpool Victoria which I found on https://www.confused.com.
Not only was Tesco dearer than several other respectable insurers, it was also £5 dearer than the quote they had given me last year! Who do they think they are kidding with their half-price deals?

Hi
I received an email from tesco personal finance which offered 999 extra points on any laptop over £400 so after buying i have found that I havent had any extra points added. I phoned clubclard and am waiting to hear back from them, but doesnt look good - is it likely to be a spam email ? or am I just impatient ?
Has anyone heard of this deal - please say yes cos I want the extra points
cheers
