I like your idea, however I would not all start emailing them if you have many accounts.
Remember each time you contact Tesco you run the risk of your accounts being merged, points being cleared, being questioned and so on.
Think about it before you contact them.
Do you think that people who join the Tesco Home Panel run the same risk?0 -
Hi, Not sure if this is the right place to ask but what does it mean on your Tesco receipt alongside your points when it says "TPF BONUS POINTS"
My receipt says:
Points this visit 51
Total up to 12/09/07 10029
Total includes
TPF bonus points 500
Green Clubcard points 6200
Does anyone have any ideas
Thanks0 -
TPF is Tesco Personal Finance so I guess you have a credit card - maybe you just spent £500 on it or perhaps it was a bonus for taking and using the card or something like that.£2 saver club £16 so far!! - it's growing!!! :j

The TPF 500 bonus points are maybe earned from putting money in a savings account I would guess and I think that they are giving the other 500 points after the moey has been in for a few months. Can't remember the second date exactly, Its either Jan or Feb 2008 I think.
6200 green points is a massive quantity, is that from recycling ink catridges or phones or have you got some other secret way. Please tell... my green point balance currently stands at just 24 !0 -

I work in an IT dept and have basically been around the company and placed homemade recycle boxes in each dept.
A bit cheaky but they are getting recycled and it pays for 2 family holidays a year:beer:0 -
Could someone tell me what happens if you don't have exactly the right amount of vouchers for an item?If I "over-spend" would I be credited the difference? For example - If I have to redeem £30 of vouchers but I don't have exactly £30 but I do have £30.50 will I lose that 50 pence or will they issue a new voucher the next time they issue them?Hope that makes sense!Thanks.S0

If you pay too much the difference will be credited back onto your clubcard0

The reply that I received, by the way, was as follows...
Thank you for your email.
I'm sorry that you were unhappy to learn that there is a charge for collecting Tesco Direct orders from the collection points we have in some of our stores. Please accept my apologies. I'd like to explain why we have this charge in place and have detailed information below that I hope will help explain this.
From Monday 17th September, if you place an order with Tesco Direct and choose the collect in store option, a delivery charge of £4.85 will be applied to all orders of £25 and under. Although I understand your disappointment we have had to take the decision to make this charge on what is in effect, a very small amount of orders collected in store.
When you place an order with us, We use a delivery company to get the products to the store for you to collect. Orders with a value of under £25 don't cover the cost of this delivery. I'm sorry but because of this, we do have to pass this charge on. However the vast majority of orders placed for collection in store have a value of over £25.00 and so this charge should affect very few customers.
If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us at customer.service@tesco.co.uk
Kind Regards
Ruth Orchardson

It's unbelievably arrogant that Tesco Direct are now charging customers £4.85 for the priviledge of collecting smaller orders from the store!
Can you imagine the uproar if Argos started doing the same thing.I urge anybody that has ever made an order for under £25 to send a complaint email about this to tescodirect@tesco.co.uk
You never know, if enough people complain about it then they might sit up and listen!
i cant believe they have done this £25 is way too much min order. i wont be buying from tesco direct anymore! :mad:Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750
